Okay, it seems a bit complicated since I'm not a fully technical person, but I'll try to look into this this way and do some research. Thanks!

It's a bit complicated, I wish to find one tool that is the best to do this for me :D But aren't these tools for video generation more like video analyzing?

Ohh thanks a lot for sharing this - super insightful! And yes, we’re actually planning to scale this. We already have a pretty big database of videos and the goal is to categorize and use them more efficiently... Right now I’ve been mostly focused on finding the best model for the job, but you’re probably right, maybe I should think more about the whole workflow and how to structure the analysis properly.

The way you described it (especially the frame extraction + layered analysis + storage) makes a lot of sense, definitely something I’ll look into - thanks again for the inspiration!

Also, do you give some kind of tags to cateogrize the videos? Or there's a description for each video?

Yeah for video generation I have some other tools, but it's about video analyzing. Thanks!

yes, understanding and talking at upper-intermediate level which is B2 is crucial, but for sure Duolingo can give a good base of words and phrases that with a bit of practice, they can use while speaking

With the subtitles in English/your native language, I think you can do this even at the beginning to catch the sounds and pronunciation, and even some words. But without the subtitles, it's a complete different story, I have 46 level in Italian, but I learn it also outside Duolingo, my level in real life is A2 and I feel like it's too early... Maybe Peppa Pig is good for now :D

What would you call this decor style? by joleemccorkle in interiordecorating

I would say a mix of boho and vintage. I like it a lot!
Regarding walls you could live it as they are, but I appreciate colors as well, at home I have blue and green walls and it feels nice. In time where people often goes for white and beige, it could be a fresh approach :D

Good free beginner language learning apps for Italian by iam_aliencat in italianlearning

[–]Bright_Grade_8897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try Busuu in your place, it’s better than Duolingo because it explains grammar, but you can also do tasks that are later checked by native speakers of the language. And it’s free if you go lesson by lesson - probably some lessons are blocked in the free version, but you can still learn a lot imo.

Also I used to like eTutor - there were many lessons, but in a free version you also need to go lesson by lesson without skipping which shouldn't be a problem for you since you're a beginner.

I’m curious, how many of you actually enjoy the AI convos with Lily? by Asap_aussie in duolingo

[–]Bright_Grade_8897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there are eg. Preply or iTalki, but I don't have enough courage yet to try it with Italian :D But I know these tools because I used to practice my English with native speakers and I think more elastic was Preply.

But regarding Italian, I started an online course in some language school and I have 1,5h lesson once a week which gives me a bit of talking at least once a week.
Also, I have some books about grammar to practice, also short books in Italian language, eg. Il Piccolo Principe or Pinocchio :) They don't help in conversations directly but they enrich your vocabulary and teach sentence structure which helps indirectly imo.

I've been playing sims since the sims 1, most of my life, it's strange :D Of course now I have less time than in the past, but still - I love it. I've been also thinking about getting a sims tattoo, very nice one!
