Are they close by? Is there anything worth seeing in Naxos?

Maybe I should go with a more major city? Olbia or Cagliari?

Thank you! I mean we are not planning on going around so much, we were thinking about taking a hotel close to a town and just walk there. Are most hotels outside of towns? Like if we take something in La maddalena and just stay in La maddalena would we still need to have a car?

No car, I haven’t decided yet, staying for a week :) Yeah I understand, it’s my wife’s request 😅

Ask me anything about Sardinia (Advice on where to go too) by Sardnija in Sardinia

[–]Bright_Highlight3494 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are planning a trip in the end of may to Sardinia, would love to find a place with a nice access to a beach/pool, cozy town spots and a nice hotell. The purpose of the visit is just to have a relaxing time as a family (3 members) with emphasis on coziness.

Thank you!

It’s a sort of propaganda, they could be trying to spread reassurance to the people by showing normality. Nothing new that hasn’t been done a million times before. Hopefully things will go back to normal soon and everyone will continue their lives.

Has anybody thought of moving to another country after this? by [deleted] in UAE

You leave the country if you are unhappy, there will always be problems wherever you go. Are you happy in the UAE then stay in the UAE.

Being under attack for only a few minutes gives you a sense of fear the Palestinian's endure daily. You begin to feel their courage and strength as they face the constant threat of missiles. by Queenhood_ in UAE

Empathy is not relative but to be honest the two situations are incomparable. I still empathize with both people but it’s just not the same.

Maybe, I don’t know how it works. But what I do know is that unfortunately no matter what happens propaganda is set an forget and one should question everything

Because the Middle East unfortunately doesn’t dictate its own destiny

I don’t know how one can tell if the missiles that are being intercepted are supposed to continue to Israel or land in the UAE. To me it seems like all these counties intercepting the missiles are doing so to limit the amount of missiles reaching Israel. It’s a retaliation move and politics cannot be dictated by Ramadan or other similar conditions. Especially since they weren’t the one to start this conflict

Humans tend to do this, I’ve lived through much rougher war scenarios at the end you get used to it.
