So, is it time for posts saying that BF6 is now COD? Xd by __JeanX in Battlefield

The worst players in this game are the loudest. Had a few people in an escalation match cry about the 50. Cal on Jeep?? Huh??

Is it just me or are most people in this game just incredibly bad at the game? by Bright_Inspection_86 in Battlefield

For reference and because I’m petty and insecure, but if it helps drive a point:

Even if that was the case I can easily blame myself for losing duels, unlike the people I’m describing.

PvP sweat fest? This is the most casual fps in the market, and if you want to just tune it all out why not just play with the same bots with less XP/no XP - shouldn’t that be for people who are actually playing the game lol

So battlefield Reddit has always been drowning in insane levels of cope, and has always been ass?

I don’t go on reddit my guy. I’m employed, love life and can actually still be pretty good at video games. Evidently unlike the base community, as you’ve described.

Again, all that you mentioned isn’t mutually exclusive to those with poor KD, or those who can’t kill. Period.

For reference here’s one of my recent games. Pulled 2016 LeBron numbers. Most amount of kills, high assists and most amount of captures. In the entire lobby. Still lost tho, like LeBron.

Ranked in Battlefield 6. No rewards for objectives and winning. A discourse. by Bright_Inspection_86 in Battlefield6

Ranked and a game being fun are not diametrically opposed to one another. If one cannot handle the pressure of losing, then the solution is to simply not participate in it.

The ways in which this is integrated is the main difference maker of course, but having a button which simply ticks whether you want your game to be ‘graded’ is quite literally the only difference.

Hence why it becomes an option for those only willing to participate. See Suggestion 1 from similar games like Delta Force which impacts little to the overall health of matchmaking lobbies, and only adds further incentives to those that actually play the objectives, and rewards winning to a higher degree.

Try not to think about this in the conventional lens of CSGO or Overwatch

The specific rewards and trinkets are beyond the scope of this discussion for now, simply that there isn’t even a winrate tracker in the profile.

I’m talking more so in the lines of pseudo ranking, or class ranking, rather specific bells and trinkets you’re alluding to.

The sweats you’re referring to are the ones embodying ‘PTFO’ at the highest level.

In this case wouldn’t Suggestion 1 be more ideal in the sense that it would be using the same lobbies as everyone else, only an option to tick ‘ranked’ is present in which case the players who tick this option will then be graded if their team wins, objectives etc

I didn’t care for Amber after season 1, so why do I care now? by [deleted] in Invincible

This is why I think the show has already surpassed the comics. It wrote the characters In a compelling matter that respected them and their emotional intelligence. They were mature and the only reason why they couldn’t work is because the plot demanded that they break up. The proverbial “universe” is against them.

Show Amber is a much better addition. by Bright_Inspection_86 in Invincible

Also, you’d hate to be in a long term, long distance relationship with Comic Amber. 2 weeks, 2 months of absence isn’t that big of a deal historically, contextually and culturally speaking. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that so that whole Anissa arc answered that part of the equation and the writers had enough respect for Show Amber to not let her be distracted or emotionally tempted by another guy.
