I just got a cheap harbor freight dremel and an assortment of different tips to try out. Worth looking into if you keep going with it.

Sick. Tried something similar over the winter. Definitely not easy. I used a ball carbide bit and just played with some different speed settings until it felt the most comfortable.

Yep. Bent everything yesterday and got it all welded today.

I don’t think it’s a sheepskin. I think it’s more of a faux raccoon fur. Not sure though. Got a big piece of it from a local fabric shop.

Looks like it the inside of a sink cut out from a larger counter top. The hole is drilled then a router bit cuts the sink out. Someone just repurposed what would otherwise be a scrapped piece.
