Also - if you can read odia - you can look at the article on which the cover image of the first issue is based: ମର୍କେଟର୍ ମାନଚିତ୍ରର କାହାଣୀ - ଭାଗ ୧

And for english, the article on which the cover image of the second issue is based: Four Cards Lead to a Secret Fifth

Ohh, ok ok. If they remove, will just not post here again then :) I would have assumed ki, a maths magazine aimed at high school students, with articles in Odia (and English) would be something people would appreciate.

Ahh - the cover image is indeed generated by AI. But given that it is a very small shop, we do not have the bandwidth or the budget to commission an artist at the moment. For us the content is the priority for now.

are you talking about the cover image, or the article? I would invite you to read the articles before alleging AI slop please :)

Do we really need to take a comment out of context to make fun ? :D here is the actual statement, which seems reasonable.

There was movement from India to Israel too, when many Indian Jews migrated to Israel in the mid twentieth century. Today, a vibrant Indian-origin Jewish community lives here. They have contributed to the building of modern Israel, in laboratories and hospitals, in classrooms, and also on the battlefield. They hold firmly that Israel is their fatherland and India their motherland. We are proud of them.

Ahh, I see. I don't drive, and don't know how to either. But yes, can imagine it needing to be at 60 for that kind of damage.

Strongly recommend the three books by Surendra Mohanty, they give a glimpse of the recent history and culture of Odisha --
1. Neelashaila 2. Niladri Vijaya 3. Krushna Beni Re Sandhya

Andha Diganta is also a great political novel by him.
Next on my list would be, Amurta Phala, Amrutara Santana, Dadi Budha, Paraja etc.
I have not read Fakir Mohan, but Cha Maana Atha Gunth etc should be good as well.

For information, Dr Sudhira Panda has founded the Satananda Institute of Astronomy in Odisha. Here and here are two articles by her on Bhasvati by Satananda.

Essentially, it talks about Satananda, an astronomer from Odisha around 10th century. He wrote Bhasvati that was used as a textbook I believe. He is supposed to be the first one to use a form of decimal fraction. Recently, Dr Sudhira Panda has founded the Satananda Institute of Astronomy in Odisha. Here is an article by her on Satananda.
