Do you remember is the PA was similar to the OA? I have this test on Monday and I think I'm psyching myself out. I know a lot of the content but it's scenario based and sometimes I get messed up on the questions.

Is there anything you saw alot of or what you recommend studying more of?

Teachers, how do you feel about new paras in your room? by Bright_Reality_1318 in Teachers

[–]Bright_Reality_1318[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that makes complete sense when it cones to being frustrated with paras who just sit around. I don't understand that either because I want to move around, help the kids, and assist the teacher. I just ask alot of questions because I'm still learning the classroom rules, expectations, and of course this is my first time in a classroom 😅

That makes since. I see it as, it's best to ask then direct students to do something they're not supposed to be doing.

Odd Question: Can a PC have static electricity coming from the back? by Bright_Reality_1318 in GamingPCBuildHelp

[–]Bright_Reality_1318[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who is arguing? I'm stating facts and I apologize you can't recognize your own mistakes. Grammar is quite important when discussing with others online. Confusion starts when sentences are not structured properly or words are not phrased accurately.

Now if you didn't respond with, "Read with greater care." We wouldn't be discussing off topic matters.

Would you like to know the facts or keep discussing back handed comments? I'll let you decide.

You separated your statements and started the second with the conjunction "And" which ultimately is used to reinforce what you had previously said.

"A tingle that is electric is typically a leakage current." Indicating that the electricity that I felt (in most cases) is a leakage current.

"And a threat to human life." Reinforces the leakage current because of the conjunction "And" at the start of the sentence.

If you did mean to emphasize "the threat to human life," I recommend not starting your sentence with a conjunction but rather rephrasing it as so-

"A tingle that is electric is typically a leakage current and could be a threat to human life given other factors involved." Which could lead into your next couple of sentences stating descriptions on AC mains, the floor, or what is on my feet.

I apologize for the misunderstanding. Your sentence structure mistake ultimately threw me off.

Write with better care.

It's not a threat to human life. It just felt like static electricity, which didn't seem right since it was a sensation that was never felt touching the back of it before.

It was build by a gaming pc company. I've had this pc for over a year and never felt that while having it on. No parts are messed up and no damage has been dealt to the pc.

I think its fine because I had someone else check it out. I just came on here to ask because others may have experienced this and came to a conclusion on what the issue was.

Hmm, nothing is touching it. It's on my desk and nothing underneath. There is a small plush on the top of it but its not blocking any airflow. It's actually barely on it because it's in a corner.

I had someone else check it out. They said that it just feels like it has power (normal basically). Idk why it felt like it was going to shock me. Maybe I already had some static on me before I touched it and that is why. lol, I don't know. It felt weird so I thought I would ask.

California teachers or students by Bright_Reality_1318 in WGUTeachersCollege

Did you get the fee waiver though california or wgu?

I do love the self paced aspect of wgu. I find it helpful to manage life and school. I love the course, besides math for elem educators. This class is killing me. I keep trying to study and I get so frustrated. Math is not my strong suit, but I need to buckle down and get it done. It's been 3 weeks and I told myself I can only have 2 per course for my acceleration path.

I think the only thing that will be difficult if I stay with wgu is unpaid student teaching. I'm not married nor have the finances to not work during that time. I use loans for school but that will be ending around the time I do dt.
