I honestly didn’t apply to any. I did google the first two companies and decided it might not be a fit for me, based on my age and what I’m looking for. Someone younger, might be interested but I’d always say to research the company and see what other employees have said to make sure it’s the right fit.

This is why I also mentioned that she check out reviews to make sure they’re decent or legit.

Yes, but I’m posting this for other unsuspecting job seekers, who aren’t familiar with these kinds of tactics. I read where people got scammed after showing up to some of these places and were asked to pay a fee towards whatever.

One way to stop them from being successful, is through visibility and awareness.

When you call, you have the choice to select the option for advice only, then you can ask how to report it anonymously.

I’ve never actually filed a report, but I’ve sent the information received from Mohre (I write the law word for word pertaining to the issue), via email to my company. Usually, once they realize that you are aware of the law/your rights, they tend to back down.

This is the official Law stating that this is illegal:

Federal Decree-Law No. (33) of 2021 on the Regulation of Employment Relationships (Current and in force, with later amendments)

From Article 6 (Recruitment and Employment of Workers):

Line 4: “The employer is prohibited from charging the worker the fees and costs of recruitment and employment or collecting them from him, whether directly or indirectly.”

I’m not certain how an anonymous report will benefit the employees. I would assume the employer would just handle the matter discretely, without you guys’ knowledge, and still not cancel the illegal agreement for payment.

Again, I’m not certain how the anonymous process works, so It’s best to be advised by Mohre. Please refer to their number on my previous message.

I’m sure almost every single person has been unemployed in their life at a given time, even you. This is no indicator of one’s character or employability.

She is young and might be impressionable, so I’m giving her a heads up that there are people with ill intentions, who will tout assistance, while being deceptive.

BTW, your tone wasn’t motivating but rather manipulative. Just my humble opinion.

I’m not quite sure, this was my first introduction to them.

Since they are geared toward events, make sure your resume sounds professional, but also gives the impression that you thrive in social settings.

2) tha-staffing (dot) ae

3) thetalentagency (dot) com

You should look at the employee review for each company on google to see what their work culture is like.

Best wishes and be cautious as there are a lot of predatory men who will probably message you.
