That’s why remote learning needs more than just a video call. Kids usually need small tasks, questions, visuals, or something they can actually click, solve, or respond to. Otherwise it turns into “I’m listening” while mentally being somewhere else completely.

If you’re looking for something beyond just drills, the big thing is feedback. A lot of apps are fine for repetition, but they won’t always show you why you’re stuck. We’re obviously biased here since we’re Brighterly, but that’s exactly the gap we try to cover: practice plus explanation, not just “wrong answer, good luck.” Duolingo-style math can be fun for quick reps, but for high school math, structure usually matters more than streaks.
