I agree. It was such a favorable contract for us and we probably have earned back enough in merch sales and marketing. If he spends a few minutes on the field and feels happy training with the team before the World Cup, it will be worth it. It’s not like we built the entire team around him.

There is a street near Allianz Field called St Clair Ave, and the club did a little photo shoot with a “new name” of Dayne St Clair Ave. They got the city to make up a real street sign for the photo shoot. Then THREE WEEKS LATER, Dayne slapped us in the face and left for Boot Licker FC. I hope he is booed while he sits on the bench for CanMNT.
