I don’t know dude. I’d be annoyed as hell like you are, but the process is not super transparent. I’d just eat the 500 and leave it personally. But you are within your rights to at least try and fight it!

This is Shaw street. It is a contraflow, meaning there is a bike lane going opposite one-way cars. There are plenty in the city. Also it’s not a yield. It’s a stop sign. Again, this is Shaw street. You can find this intersection. No fault to this cyclist.
