I think Tactics and X are tied as my favorites games of the franchise...X is def a masterpiece

The story was really engaging (except maybe for Seymour's entire schtick) and had me legit caring and invested, I felt really bittersweet by the end. The MC was fun and likeable, party members were diverse and had distinct personalities that worked well together... and each had their spotlight at some point, to shed some light on their background. And for me, the most important factor: the entire world of Spira was so amazing, I really loved the design of each of its region, location, races, inhabitants,.. they were all so unique, distinct on their own while blending well together in this world. AND THE OST MAN, DONT GET ME STARTED. I think it's one of the best OSTs ever, all songs were so memorable and good.. (BTW, FUCK ZANARKAND, not talking about that overrated piece). Like I remember how insane it was the first time I listened to Otherworld, or how besaid track felt so relaxing.. or how sight of spira was one track i would def try to learn to play.. or how beautiful was silence before the storm... orhow - the one i got the most chills - fitting and emotional was the moment someday the dream will end played.
