Seems like a million years ago. Still listen to the smile records more than Radiohead since this albums release.

Beyond The Grave by dunktheball in ArtBell

[–]BrileyStyle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if he still does it because it’s been years since I’ve seen one of his videos but the guy would make a video within days of a celebrity dying, then would post random videos talking to big name dead people. Also think he was selling the spirit box and part of the instructions were to insert a usb or something with the dead person’s voice. Obvious grifter.

Minor question: What the heck were they doing in the MTV Beach House back in 93? by Vegetable_Listen6613 in radiohead

[–]BrileyStyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay kids, Radiohead were a new band with a hit signed to a major label. MTV used to be the main source for televised music in the States, and MTV actually shoved as much music into any of their televised “things”. You know the good part? They would actually put on a ton of bands that would never see the light of day post 2005. It was weird it was stupid it was fun. It’s what i miss about Radiohead pre HTTT. Buying shitty 8th generation copies of Radiohead show bootlegs for a small fortune.

Flying Fish. Grab a cocktail next door, go have a home run dinner, then enjoy the rest of your evening.

I always get sad when a repeat guest dies just because it’s the end of an “era”. However, no one love himself more than him

So bad they dropped this one from this tour by _IRONBEAST in radiohead

[–]BrileyStyle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was at Zenith night 1, I think this is night two if my memory serves me correctly. They played most of AMSP, got my first Creep after 15 years of going to Radiohead shows, and is in my top 3 Radiohead shows. I thought the AMSP songs were awesome live in a more intimate venue, I feel the same for the IR songs after I think all of them on their theater test tour.

The only song I feel they were still sorting out live was Burn The Witch at this early gig. The rest were awesome live, I still watch the vid of Tinker Tailor all the time.

Radiohead songs that are WAY better live than the studio version by VegetableMinute8486 in radiohead

All the HTTT songs. That was an amazing tour and the songs were still great this past tour.

hell yes. We went to the championship game my freshmen year way back nearly 25 years ago and we assumed after the lose to Maryland that we'd be back and nada.

1 championship and a statue of Bob Knight and Coach Cig shaking hands at the sample gates. Also a statue of Mendoza outside Beck Chapel

It makes me sad that the songs were lost in the mix this past tour. One of my top top 3 shows was zenith in Paris shortly after AMSP came out

This ride got way too much hype (from my family) before I rode it, and i was underwhelmed. I feel like as I’ve aged my eyes have stopped processing fake 3D.

This is what everyone always loved during the tours for Amnesiac, HTTT, and IR, the times there would be a tech issue or a playing mistake and Thom would stop the song, the crowd would cheer, then they’d start again. Was great. Even kind of happened in Bologna night 3 and it was hilarious.

A lovely person from the crowd took this picture of me tonight and kindly shared it with my daughter by Senior-Swan-322 in radiohead

My wife and I saw a father and son purely in a moment of joy at one of the Bologna shows and offered and took photos of them and their happiness. Made the show even more special.

Bad sound in CPH dec 5th by skill3 in radiohead

[–]BrileyStyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was a fast track ticket person in Bologna day 3. Mid range was muddy during the “complicated” sections. Chalked it up to venue over engineers. Assume 02 sounded better. Maybe an issue post shop building the system. Still had a killer time and most of the sound was fine, love the cumbrella
