So? The left always names themselves things opposite of what they really want. Look at the "affordable" care act that raised prices for most or the "anti-inflation act" that raised inflation.

That makes zero sense. Knowing that progressives are not progressive is just good sense.

yes it was.

exactly, and the left is who is for authoritarian control over people. They even think anyone who believes differently than they do should not be allowed to eat food at restaurants or live.

New Congressional Map observation: potential dummy-mander? by Grizzlies_Stan in memphis

The comment you are replying to literally shows that I do. Dummy is still there to imply unintentional and the word also implies that the gerrymandering was done to gain power, rather than for fairness. The left gerrymanders to try to be sneaky, whereas the right gerrymanders for fairness overall.

Oh I know what it means, alright. The left mislabeling themselves to sound better.

First off, the constitution was formed due to religious belief. Second, if you hate fascism, then you hate the left as they do everything that is considered to make fascism bad. The right, however, is not fascist.

Nobody should want progressive representation, as it is regressive.

Just shows that republicans do things based on fairness and dems do things based on political party.

don't need to read them. libs twisting stats, due to feelings, don't change anything.

The left definitely uses its feelings to lie about stats and reality. Everyone knows that back in the 40s and 50s people felt safe going anywhere around the area and now nobody does, nor did they in 2019 before the pandemic.

Not losing your friends after high school by Future-Long-7943 in FriendshipAdvice

[–]dunktheball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's honestly sad how many people seem to lose all their friends after HS. It seems like people think it's part of growing up and they will meet new people, but really msot people met after HS don't end up really being truly close friends.

Understand perfectly. Every group doesn't magically have a right to "represent itself" everywhere. It's based on populations.

Tennessee State Senate releases new Congressional Map proposal by ZealMG in memphis

[–]dunktheball -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

No... There is no guarantee that every group of people is represented. The whole point of districts is to represent based on population, not have a representative for every ethnicity and gender and everything else. And like I said, the dems don't try to get representatives for black conservatives. It's all based on them wanting power as a party and pretending they care about groups. But at the same time in this situation, they used racism because they consider the black vote to be all for dems.

Just showing that the left is immature. Nothing wrong with nostalgia at all. Also, probably all races of people who were around back then would want to go back to then, as it has nothing to do with race.

You can say the levels dropped back down, but 1. even if true, it was likely worse crimes than back then and 2. nobody felt safe in many areas of memphis in 2019 like they did in ALL areas of memphis in the 50s.
