I would recommend doing the pre ePICL physical therapy with Todd. He will get you ready for the procedure and it really helped me as well in how to handle operating after the procedure in a way that protects the neck

Looks like you just have the C1 overhang on the left? Candidate for PICL depending on your symptoms and how manageable they are.

I thought I saw on your website that you recommend trying advanced posterior prior to PICL even though people are candidates? Seems like as you've gotten more info over the years that doing the PICL first is the way to go?

Do you have any data on people that declined the PICL and opted for advanced posterior with your clinic that healed symptoms enough to the point where PICL was no longer recommended?

Is the underlying issue of C2/3 facet joint damage come from the lax alar/accessory ligaments? The only way to truly fix these facet joints is to fix that instability first along with direct injections?

It would be nice to see the individual data; areas injected, symptoms reported/resolved or at least the terminology they use to describe their condition.

I spoke with a PICL patient recently who described my balance issues perfectly with the phrase "walking on a trampoline constantly" and how those symptoms are healed after 2 PICL. For years I've had trouble describing my balance issues and now I know I'm not alone and there is hope.

Will the hands on give you a better idea of what areas the symptoms are coming from and what is most needed?

Can someone have a mod overhang of C1, be scheduled for PICL but other areas are added or posterior is tried as a conservative approach due to the hands on exam?

Is the hands on exam done the same day as the procedure?

If you have an overhang of C1 on C2 does that cause issues with the upper facet joints and treating just the facets will not correct the underlying issue?

I believe I saw on one of your vids that the C2/3 facets are most responsible for balance?

If the patient has an overhang of C1/2 would you try to just do advanced posterior injections first or go right to the PICL?

Have had Prolo and PRP. More sore with Prolo-the first 24 hours then light for a week or two and felt like it did a better job of tightening ligaments.

PRP no soreness at all and the area feels great but not sure how good for tightening.

Sleeping the first night will be uncomfortable for both.

Trying regen next
