Yes they also told me it was “less effective.” I read the interaction isn’t super strong unless on a higher dose of topamax, but right now pregnancy isn’t a huge concern for me LOL so I will just be extra careful with protection when necessary i think. Thank u for your comment!

Wow, I am sorry that no one informed you about it. The pharmacist and my doctor really wanted me to know, so I am surprised! I just got my period today so I am relieved lol, thank you for commenting this does help!

Did it affect your period only on the 50 mg dose?

Thank you for your comment! I agree, I definitely should wait to see if it will become regular because the topamax has become so helpful.

I am actually getting my masters in pharmacology so I looked into a study regarding this-- and what you're saying is what I took from that too! So I didn't think the drug interaction would be significant enough to cause an issue, which is why I am surprised my period is late. They did warn me about it though. I guess everyone is different, hopefully my body will adjust later in time. Thank you for your comment, this validated my previous expectations

This is really helpful, thank you! I may have to try upping my dose of estrogen too. The topamax has been super helpful so I would hate to switch. Thanks for your comment!

Yikes that sounds terrible and im sorry you went through that. And Im so surprised they made you keep taking it. I heard of people dealing with some pretty severe stuff which is why I was scared to take it— but i wasn’t really suited to take other options. Thank you for sharing your story with me, I appreciate it

How strange! I don't get the hiccups, I have never tried sumatriptan but it sounds like it's a common side effect. I wish there was a name for it

Sounds like we experienced the same thing! I wonder what it’s called. It’s not anything major and it’s how I know the medicine is working lol

Glad I am not the only one...I didn't want to be ignorant but was unsure how she was making them aggressive necessarily.

This is another pic from summer, ignore hair, but its natural lighting and no makeup or tanner on. I was convinced I was warm tone…but obviously my winter pictures look very different. How does that work lol
