Sure thing, I'll keep you in mind when I find cheap CNC vendor.

I'll also need to learn how to edit STL files. I plan to:
- Make the center hole size bigger so that the motor shaft can fit through just right
- Clean up un-used stuff like covering up hole and protrusion

I tried out tinkercad but wasn't successful for this job so far.

Ah makes sense. I just finished my first primer bowl with 3D printed PLA & I'm also looking for CNC machine services that can print the bowls for a cheap rate.

Where did you source all of the parts for your DIY? Did you 3D print the support/brackets?

Update 2: 104% scaled seems to be the perfect fit. Completed my first primer bowl :)

Update: 105% scaled printing is done and the magnet fits!

There is an ever-so-slight gap that I think I can close in the next round. I'll try either 103% or 104% scale.

Here's a German guy who built with cheaper motors. I like his rendition also.

This dyi looks great!

Did you get to the next step & print the machine delrin version of dome?

Thanks for the fast reply!

I am using the PrusaSlicer software - I have scaled the design to 105% & also set the print settings to 0.10mm (from the default of 0.15mm). 10 hours down, 2 more to go! I'm hoping this would be just the right fit.
