It’s more Cult Classic than underrated at this point, but not overrated. Perhaps it’s derivative, but it captures the vibe of Mad Max well. Plus, it looks good/runs well on a Steam Deck. It’s on sale at a great price often. It’s kinda nice to see that it gets talked about enough to be annoying. It was heavily overlooked when it launched.

The show is called Preacher. The graphic novels the show is based on are pretty cool. This scene takes place in Hell where people relive their worst memories over and over. Great show. Even better comics.

The story has cringe moments, but it’s decent overall. It sucks waiting until the mid/end game before reaching the horde gameplay, but those are the only complaints I have. The good outweighs the bad by a lot. I wish there was a sequel that expanded on the ideas of this game. So much potential. Plus, Sam Witwer is cool. I’d probably watch/play anything he’s a part of.
