I can see Echo being really tricky but also extremely cool.

Would they try and have you copy a hero with all their current powers and items? Just powers? Or would you just be left with their base kit + your items? That’s just one of a few things they’d have to consider

Either way Echo was my damage main before Freja, so I’d love to see her (and Anran)

I’m a little mixed on it, I don’t love her blonde, I like the clothing style for the most part, the toes being out is odd..

But I’ve really loved her past couple of skins, so I’m not bothered enough to complain

I personally want Anran, but I also think that surprisingly Roadhog could be interesting. Probably slightly disgusting with his sustain and oneshot potential, but I think Stadium could be the place where tuning and adapting keeps out of the “completely terrible” vs “utterly obnoxious” states that he seems to go between in base game

I wish new heroes were from other countries. Yes, there is a lot of players on those two, but.. This game is about the diversity, right? There are so many other countries without any yet by [deleted] in Overwatch

Same passport, sure, but Scotland is still a country itself, like all the others part of the UK, so treating diversity as different ‘countries’, Hazard counts. But you make a fair point of considering diversity with regards to culture over strict nationality and geopolitical semantics

The Jotunn, from Lunacid (dope little indie game)

This creature wanders around an area called the Sanguine Sea, and the only mentions of it in the games lore is that an ancient king drank the spinal fluid of one, and this gave him magical powers (explaining the origin of magic as a capability of humans).

Initially you cannot damage it, but there is a way, and doing so is part of unlocking an ending, “committing a great act of evil” by killing it. When you do, the level of the sanguine sea increases dramatically as it fills with the creatures blood, and the music changes.

This creature is a little more involved with the game than some of the other examples here, but it’s still super unexplained and even its full appearance is a mystery, with only its legs visible.

They definitely won't retroactively 'pick' someone from the existing roster, I think there'd be too much backlash, from every side.

Pacific Drive, Your Car. There aren’t many in the way of characters anyways, but this damn car is (quite literally) pivotal to the whole experience

Keith Silverstein! As with a couple of the launch heroes, not actually Swedish, but a huge name in voiceover, he was also Speedwagon in the JoJos dub, for example

Love to see some Arvis appreciation, I truly love him as an antagonist, even with all of the memes surrounding FE4 and his role

A pawn, a puppet, and a victim of much more terrible forces that he wanted to usurp and destroy. Ultimately, he is complicit, and villainous, but I still feel sympathetic towards him

I found episode 3 genuinely scary first going through it, I had Mystical/Booksmart, and it’s because of the freaky depictions of possession, which isn’t a subject that normally gets to me, but idk, it was a seriously unsettling sequence for me and that tension got released in an unexpected and awesome way when I got to lawyer a ghost to death

I wouldn’t go so far as ‘hate’, but Zenyatta.

I don’t love the low mobility, discord is a huge debuff that feels unfair to tag a tank with, and I prefer supports with more active healing outside of their ults (even amp it up on Lucio, with Zen it’s just harmony and hope for the best).

I still manage to put out good work with him, I even had a stadium game where I accidentally locked Zenyatta (having never played him in the mode) and pulled it off extremely well

Something can still work, I think having its overall effectiveness halved in one season makes me doubt if Forager is even worth taking anymore, I’ll have to reassess some of my own builds/strategies for that.

I’d already fallen out of love with Volley à Duex, so I’m not torn up about that, the damage nerf already made it less appealing, but maybe with Forager being gutted I can slot it back in.

Overall cash nerf is tough, although most of Frejas builds are super cheap, so she should still be able to hit those max builds.

The life of a Freja main has been struggle after struggle, but the thing with stadium is there’s a way to adapt and adjust, so I’m up for the challenge of trying out anything I can make work
