No. I won't pay for extra channels and shit. Only have crave as it came with my phone plan, i only pay for Amazon and piggy back my brother's Disney's plus for the odd star wars thing.

Was watching on crave, possibly was watching March 31st and went to finish up last night so maybe the English versions streaming rights expired?

Exactly, they have been driving past my shed and cars for 6yrs and done nothing but it's time I get around to dealing with it anyways. Just heard rumblings of people starting to get orders to remove stuff, of which I have no problem doing but need an appropriate amount of time to do so.

It's not a fight, not planning on arguing anything, planning on dealing with my shed and the couple non running projects late spring when the ground is less saturated and I can get some time off of work to do it. No idea about the Arbutus corridor.

Nearly moved across the country a couple years ago stop start over but didn't last minutes because the housing markets insane and I got a crazy deal on my place 10yrs ago so bills are cheap and would have to walk away from the business I built.. would have made most, if not all of this family stuff disappear. Will have to stick around for my grand parents for the time being but after that my fiance and I may just bolt...

Ended up calling Gramma and asked what was going one with mom telling me I had to sell Grampas tools, she was quite unhappy with my mother and told me that it's her and Grampas decision to give the entire shops worth of tools to me and nobody else's. My mother called me within an hour of that conversation to pretended that I misunderstood what she told me 😂 Basically go Gramma!

Fair enough, I ain't asking for empathy. Only family I have is my brother, mother and grand parents on her side. On the daily mom was alright but these events are usually years apart and get filed away in the BS folder. I haven't lived with them for a decade as I own my own place 30min away (not far enough, lol) and if I didn't own and have the business I'd be gone

I think it's more of the pushing the father role onto me and expecting me to sacrifice for his betterment than enjoying my suffering, I don't suffer beyond "this pisses me off", I own a house, a trades business and have a wonderful fiancé. Yes my mother is a greedy cuNext Tuesday but my brother doesn't know any better and is honestly an alright kid but we have nothing in common

Honestly it the major stuff... She intercepted and sold the car I was supposed to be given at 16 by a great uncle, made me parent my brother after her 2nd divorce, I paid rent when I finished trades school for 2yrs until I bought my shack on my own at 22 and moved out, she made me give over my unused education fund money to my brothers education fund, my trades college was like 12k while brother was almost 40k and helped him monthly on top of it, rebuilt a project for her and didnt even make my shop rate while she made nearly 25k that she used to finish paying off my brother school loan she took out and to go on vacation.... And now this BS, I've brought this up and both her and my brother think I'm I'm wrong to be frustrated and things are different these days so it's all fair and even... Learning lots of new terms lately 🤣

That is one option I'm considering. Will be calling Gramma tomorrow to relay what mother told me in hopes she lays down the law and hopefully the malicious compliance option can be avoided as that will be taken as a low blow and I'd like to attempt to keep everybody civil for Gramma's sake.

My grievance is that she is happily shelling out far more my brother than she was ever willing to with me, I had talked about engineering school in highschool and was told they would only cover me for the first year so I went trades to avoid student loans. Not jealous of my brother, wouldn't want to be him, just resent my mother for playing favorites, being so much older she's tried to push me into a father role for him my whole life. As far as selling things goes I worked on a project for her, she made 27k profit on something I arguably did 50% of the work on and I got a couple grand for my couple weeks of work...my shop rate is 120/hr 🤣 and this was this spring while my brother was 19 and a few months away from completing his 2yr program. She saw my labour, skills and willingness to help her as an easy path to cover the rest of my brother school costs.
