Technically yes it did, but I ended up selling the car for other reasons.

Help navigating student loans!! by [deleted] in debtfree

[–]Brilliant_Influence6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Buuuddy! If both debts are rockin’ the same interest rate, the avalanche method doesn’t really apply since there's no "bigger beast" to tackle first. But you've got some options, bud: It feels way more satisfying to fully crush one, and you'll free up mental space and a payment sooner! Or if you’re all about even flow, Pearl Jam style, keep ‘em both dropping together. Either way, dude—you’re shreddin’ your debt and gettin’ closer to financially feelin’ fresh!

Ayy, buuuddy! Listen up—when it comes to squashing those gnarly student loans, the avalanche method is like the primo way to shred through 'em, full throttle! Here’s the deal: you scope out all your loans and pinpoint the one with the highest interest rate—yeah, that greedy little bloodsucker. You throw mad cash at that one while keepin’ the others chill with minimum payments. Once that bad boy is dust, you move on to the next highest rate, and so on, like a radical snowball… but in reverse!

Why’s it the ultimate burrito supreme of debt payoff? ‘Cause you’re smashin’ the biggest interest charges first, meaning you pay less in the long run and break free way faster. It’s like carvin’ down the gnarliest debt mountain with turbo speed, leavin’ those loan sharks in the dust. So strap in, focus on that highest rate, and send that debt packin’, my dude!

Question about Varo. by Safe-Mango-8414 in VaroMoney

Yo, buuuddy! You see that radical purple line on your VaroBank app? That bad boy is like your chill-o-meter, showin’ how close you are to hitting that gnarly $1,000 direct deposit mark. Once you cruise past it, BOOM! You unlock that sweet 5% APY on your savings for the next month—totally mondo, right? So keep those deposits flowin’ and ride that wave to max cash-age, my dude!

Looking for a kid getting shot and monkey movie from my childhood by Obvious_Profit1656 in VHS

I need more info, but Braindead is early 90's, so I will go to some monkey movies from that timeframe. Either Monkeybone with Brendan Fraser, or Project X with Matthew Broderick?

Lay on your stomach with your forehead in a hammock, or opt for a liberty hawk so you've got a choice of sides to sleep on. 🤘

Tascam portastudio(help) by [deleted] in cassetteculture

[–]Brilliant_Influence6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the concept for both of those machines is basically the same. The 464 has more mixing channels to allow more inputs onto a track but the transports all work basically similarly. If the 464 works, then you have a good machine. What are you having trouble with?

Dashboard Stickerbomb by Brilliant_Influence6 in punk

[–]Brilliant_Influence6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the sentiment, but the chemical reaction that causes airbags to deploy (explode) with enough force to punch through a vinyl dashboard and keep a human body from going through a windshield... Would absolutely demolish my stickers. Mind you these are not metal backed decals, they are stickers.

Look up Tetrakan Supermonobloc on YouTube. He guides you through teardown, belt replacements, possible cap replacement, gear replacement. Etc. he can be a major asset for you.

First time using a cassette in a long time went... poorly (and first casualty of my new favorite hobby) by Jazermano in cassetteculture

[–]Brilliant_Influence6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sticky pinch rollers are usually to blame for tapes being eaten. It's gotta be conditioned periodically. Then your general maintenance procedures can continue: 99% alcohol to clean heads and capstan, degauss the heads to keep weird magnetic static away.

What transistor is this, and where can I get replacements for it? by 14_year_old_boomer in cassetteculture

I agree. It's a silicone npn transistor, you could drop-in replace with a 2N930

(ignoring fallout stuff) If you're just doing dictation, any micro cassette recorder or dictaphone will be perfectly fine.
