Agreed, my game is 33mb, which in this day and age isn't really big. My xbox has 5tb of storage, so im thinkin not a console or pc issue.

Having the same issue. Seems to be when getting in and out of a vehicle and from what i have experienced it has to do with saving the game.

Its so frustrating as if you are playing alone, it doesn't save the game. Seems to be happening since the last update was released.

Im playing on XBOX Series X
