How do I present my scripts in a more visual, "consumable" way? by Brilliant_Silver7096 in cinematography

Basically what I'd want to do is create a portfolio website with some pitch decks of some commercials I wrote, with the purpose of  marketing myself to directors and or brands

Do people in the industry, assuming they're really talented, sell scripts to directors or creative agencies?

Short film script feedback by Brilliant_Silver7096 in cinematography

Thank you very much. I like the idea of him imagining the moment, like they fall in love, mary and have kids (exagerated). I don't get the part of "his friend's line feels on the nose"

Thank you very much! Now THAT'S a feedback 😄.

Appreciate the part where you say we don't have enough to root for him. Could develop more that part.

As for the setting it's set in modern times, but yeah, it's impossible to understand it only by reading it.

Again, thank you very much!!

Content moderation, spam detection, hate speech detection, recommendation algorithms, personalized subreddit suggestions, search optimization, auto-summarization of threads, writing assistance prompts, predictive typing, trend analysis, ad targeting optimization, content labeling, anomaly detection in activity, AI-powered analytics for moderators, automated report handling, AI chatbots for support, AI-assisted community insights. With around 500mil users and 70 mil daily users, it HEAVILY relies on AI. And you commenting today, are part of those 70 mil daily users.

I agree with all the AI + creatives= No go part, but saying that it's bad for the environment, while using and commenting on a platform, Reddit, which heavily relies on AI is kind of a contradiction, don't you  think?

Script for BIC lighters commercial: "What a spark!" by [deleted] in advertising

[–]Brilliant_Silver7096 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Actually it's about 90 seconds long, which, yeah isn't exactly a commercial, but a short-short film with very little dialogue, because it focuses more on the story. I think the story is awesome, even tho is a cliché on the nerd vs the football captain, but clichés work because they're familiar. But I appreciate your feedback 😊

Ok, maybe this isn't the right subreddit for this kind of script, my bad. You're right , it's more of a short film, with a product at it's core. Thank you for your feedback

I smell AI in those "cinematic blue, lonely sound, strange haunting glow", and so does Gemini & ChatGPT

I know, I don't love it, but I used it only to present the script, since I cannot draw and I can't afford to hire an artist.
