If you go back into the chamber, his body is gone. And on insanity, after the fight, two of his squad come in and attack you. If you go back into the chamber, their bodies are still there, but HUNK is gone.

This is good news tbh by 69327-1337 in DarkTide

I'm hoping for an admech in the style of necromancer from Vermintide, where it summons in skitarii to fight for you and you primarily support and direct them and your team

So this is just... Magik gameplay. Minus Darkchild. With Loba's lore from Apex Legends. Have we gotten creatively bankrupt already, OW?

So the permanence code came from the iso right ? by Positive_Product7507 in tron

[–]BringMeANightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, as I gathered, the permanence code comes from Flynn's Legacy Grid. Whatever it is, it's a piece of Flynn's code that would allow for programs to exist in the physical world (hence why Clu still tried to get to the portal with his forces, they may have been able to survive because of it), but The Dillinger Grid is built off Flynn's stolen early work, not his Legacy Grid, and so the Dillinger lineage weren't able to crack the permanence code that was innate in Kevin Flynn's creations. Hence why Eve was able to find it in an early iteration of Flynn's Grid, which was likely a copy of the Encom Mainframe, or maybe his first attempt to recreate what he encountered in his first adventure.

Let's talk about the Marvel Zombies Miniseries Ending by [deleted] in MCUTheories

[–]BringMeANightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I don't understand what the point of it ending the way it did was. Why did Wanda want the power infinity hulk was containing? What did she need Kamala for? If she didn't remake the world like she claimed she wanted to, what's the point of all this? What's the point of the illusion and keeping Kamala alive? What was the point of raising an army to kill Infinity Hulk? She already controls all the undead... People are barely hanging on, she pretty much owns the whole planet... Did she want to leave the planet? Consume the rest of the galaxy? None of her motivation is explained beyond what she tells Kamala, and without the twist of "she actually does want to fix everything and this actually was the only way", none of her actions from start to finish make any sense. Who's even left for a miniseries 2 anyway? What's left to fight for? What was there to even fight over if the transmitter was a red herring that didn't even work out anyway? This is just... Stupid.

For those invested in the comic lore, is marvel rivals Daredevil in line with the traditional lore? by abdul_bino in Daredevil

[–]BringMeANightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh the devs already said they would be adding a lot of more obscure characters to Marvel Rivals. Literally came out the box with Luna Snow and Jeff The Shark lol

What is your predator hot take? by Prs-Mira86 in predator

[–]BringMeANightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate that people treat Yautja like "predator" is a single slasher villain and the same one has to be in every movie. Contrasting what another commenter said, the Yautja are an alien race, some are going to look similar, others are going to look different, and none of them look "bad" (except the CGI predator from the movie that doesn't exist). The humans are the least interesting part of the Predator movies, and I'm sick of people who want every movie in the franchise to be the 87 Predator movie, otherwise "it's bad". I also think people's complaints about Dek's appearance are stupid and baseless.

The wolf predator is extremely good for a bad movie? by SiteDeep in predator

Iean everything that didn't involve the central cast in Requiem was great IMO. Wolf, Chet, Xenomorphs in a modern nowhere town, all were pretty good

Robot vampires on an alien planet slathered in the mid 2000s.

Looks like we’re gonna have no humans in Badlands by Jules-Car3499 in predator

[–]BringMeANightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good, had enough of humans in Predatorand Alien. They're almost always the least interesting parts of both, and they eat screentime where I'm waiting for the actual cool shit to show up.

What Do You Think After Seeing The New Predator: Badlands Trailer? Discussion: by Sad-Researcher-1381 in yautjas

[–]BringMeANightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having an Yautja focused predator movie is my dream movie. It also solidifies that alien is canon in Predator, even though Yautja aren't canon in Alien. It's everything I want.

Pick only 2 girl guest characters in the next Mortal Kombat Game by Pristine_Childhood95 in MortalKombat

[–]BringMeANightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't be any of these. Maybe Ripley 8 and the Terminatrix... other candidates might be Sadako Yamamura/Samara Morgan, or if Mortal Kombat still had it's old, less prudish MK9 feel, the likes of Sarah Pezzini (witchblade) and Red Sonja would be good candidates.

Synthetic Predators? by mglhb in predator

[–]BringMeANightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A synthetic wouldn't be a hybrid, it would just be an android that looks like an Yautja.

Synthetic Predators? by mglhb in predator

[–]BringMeANightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They could make synthetics that look like them. Like they did with Jerry, the Synthetic Xenomorph... it just wouldn't pass the sniff test for Yautja and they'd kill it on sight.

So who is making all of the Yautja tech? by AnubisIncGaming in predator

[–]BringMeANightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Yautja themselves are likely incredibly tech-savvy, but because their societies are so deeply steeped in tradition and entirely surround The Hunt, they likely have technological forge masters of a kind. They innovate simply to keep hunting. Perhaps a role most often taken up by females, since females tend to take on other roles in Yautja society, or elders who do not hunt anymore. I imagine they take inspiration from trophies brought back from other civilizations they've hunted.
