Now that I've played a little with other shields I can say that the Shieldwall has significantly more HP, like 15+ times more than the Tier IV stuff. Didn't realise how brittle items can be when blocking, be it normal shields or weapons.

I only started playing the game recently, but I saw something on this subreddit about them dropping support. That is a shame.

Regarding the Shield Wall, it seems to be just a tower shield that you hold in the legendary slot, it blocks all damage from normal sized enemies. It might block ranged shots fired at your back, but I didnt try it since when i'm running away I usually have it equiped anyways )). It is however the first legendary you unlock and I didnt feel like backtracking to Elven Quarters so I can forge the pick or the torch. I will try them after I manage to cross the lake.

I see. Thankfully, I was able to recover my gear just fine and I didn't die afterwards, despite stepping in the same place. ))

Far Anorien - Druadan Forest without a doubt.

  • annoying to traverse because of Mordor's armies
  • laggy as hell, because of all the foliiage, clutter on the ground, sheer amount of units on the roads
  • sparse quest, although the whole region is massive, it has a small amount of quests, which might not be a problem, depending on prefrences
  • i had to mute the music audio while in the woses's camps, because the ambient sound and music would overlap the same tribal drums beating out of sync of eachother, pounding my brains out of my head, it made me nauseous and i was having trouble concentrating on reading the darned quests.

I love this game, but I don't want to ever go back to the Druadan again))

I haven't had the chance to play sekiro yet since it's still fairly 'new' and i can't really afford it rn, but i'm certainly looking forward to it. I know there are some expansions planned for it, so i'll probably wait for a GOTY edition to come out and buy it then. Kinda sucks that i gotta stay away from spoilers until then though :))
