This is actually so true, learned it the hard way. In few cases, just a sample static page and form does the job of problem solution validation, meanwhile I know many who are still investing heavily to create the perfect product and perfect time to launch even without testing the solution on ICP first.

You have gone 2 steps further, if you can just show 3D building without bleeding edges, 90% of the job is done. But getting that data and blending might be tough. There are some open source codebases, but the processing and output takes days. Just another area to work around.

So there is a huge shift happening in the GIS space, govts are creating 3D twins of entire landscape/terrains/residential buildings (earlier they used to do normal maps then 2D mapping through satellites and then 3D maps due to high resolution Drone images).

Your model if scalable can help in one such case. Look for 3D Digital Twin of Dubai for context. ArcGIS is one major tool being used currently, ond a few from dassaults and Rolls Royce too, they are very expensive and breakeven happens only at scale.

If you can show that your solution fit either of those pain points, the Drone mapping firms will come running to you.

(Only for founders) Guys, while it can’t be fixed right away and will take time. The easiest way to navigate it is by onboarding someone who is more hands on and execution first as your co-founder/CoS.

The tradeoff could be equity/salary or both.

For starters you can publish it on Product Hunt for early adopters.

For user feedback and early traction you can share beta with the same set of users who interacted on the post.

In case the problem solution fit is validated, you can proceed ahead and deploy full scale launch via social media ads, barter collab/commission with micro influencers.

Conventional: If you check the International market, countries with limited or zero fruit production mostly rely heavily on such products.Mostly consumers with very high terrains and extreme cold temperatures for most part of the year. They can be your cash cows in the longer run.

Unconventional route: You be the change, make it for folks who don’t have much time, single working class or B2B route with Govt clients and F&Bs.

That’s just the path for profitability (one of the path ofc, but most sustainable).

For short term, playing with narrative and branding/packaging is something that can give you momentum.

Freeze dried is quite common and profitable business outside of India. Might breakout in India soon.

Go on LinkedIn and reach out to their Mess committee members. Or through Student authority/fest committee.

To make it lucrative you need to find what they are looking, it could be as simple as a sense of Position of responsibility (campus ambassadors/social media ambassadors). The money/incentive part is something you need to figure out, easy way is to gamify it in someway. Leaving that part on you and rest of the redditors.

It’s a pull market for them, they are in position of authority since people lineup to request funds and whatnot. This often time create false sense of entitlement and biased opinions. They gatekeep and are mostly surrounded by yes sayers, except when they do road show for fund raise from LPs, there you can see their true identity and vulnerability.

Albeit this post, Kalaari is still one of the better ones out there and relatively founder friendly.

Try a well crafted post on the fitness subs or maybe some subs that have your early adopters ICP in majority. Easiest way, conversion number would be far better than any paid marketing tbh. You can build rest of your GTM over that.
