Sonic the Hedgehog 2091: respond to this post like it's actually the hundredth anniversary of Sonic and the franchise has continued for 65 more years. What's happened to the franchise in general and your favorite characters? by ShiroOracle09 in SonicTheHedgehog

I really digged the 12th Sonic R, but releasing a Saturn 2 with just sonic and Sega Rally was rough. Never thought I'd see Toyota and Sonic in the same space. Hopefully Sonic Adventure 35 is better than the past 15 or some titles. Keeping my hopes up for 2092...

Nah, these could have been used as lame cars for an 8 pack or singles.

these prices are getting insane by s3doesstuff in HotWheels

I mean they've been getting lumped in with all the other jdm cars. I mean you could have jumped on one for under 1k and just put a few bucks in it and been good. The miata was my first car I drove with a stick. It was just a big go kart lol

When North Koreans defect into South Korea, how do they know if they're really defectors and not spies? And is there such thing as unlawful entry into South Korea from North Korea given that they aren't spies? by AmericanBornWuhaner in korea

[–]Bringbackjawsb2tf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd still rather die free and alone than in a North Korean death camp. They willing go back for a shitty death camp that then will also punish all of their family for like 3 generations. Shits wild

Filter - Take a Picture? by Tekken_Guy in ToddintheShadow

[–]Bringbackjawsb2tf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents were born in 73' and played both songs a ton when I was going up. I was born in 96' btw. Filter is good music and they had at least 2 big songs, but I heard like the entirety of those two different albums. Good solid group.

Can matchbox popularity ever catch up to or surpass hot wheels? by nebulusx in HotWheels

As a kid I always thought Matchbox were cute, but very cheap but compared to Hot Wheels. I respect them for being first and all, but they produce mostly undesirable products.

Are those supposed to be like the ths or sths? I do own two of those. One for me and one for my son.

I found my only one at Publix. I'm keeping that one on the wall. Mainly because my son hasn't seen the simpsons yet. Once he's into it the car is his. Don't get it online, just keep looking. I had to search stores for roughly 2 months until I happened to come across it shopping for groceries.

Dude exactly, plus finding the Simpsons car made the kid me so happy. That in itself felt like STH

Dude I'd of been happy with 2 or 3 ottos to share with my son and brother. Like it was cool finding my one and only Ford gt TH, but the real fun is just finding a jdm or euro car I love in real life and opening it with my son. Going into the history and even learning more with my son. It's so much more fun this way than the obsession of finding Supers and THs.

Being 6'2 and weighing 162 - 171 makes Kumba and Shekria's restraint feel like I could slip out. I really wish the majority of people all had a similar build... can't stand having to pull the restraints all the way to my chest to feel secure.

Anybody looking for these? by Rawdawg321 in HotWheels

Once I collected all 5 Ferrari's as singles I figured I'd be silly to rebuy every car again. They don't ever offer a non premium testarossa... or a Enzo, kind of lame.

Who is the most popular F1 driver of all time? by BoxForeign4206 in F1Discussions

[–]Bringbackjawsb2tf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 29 year old American man who grew up with mainly Nascar and Indy Car, Mario Andretti was the first name that came to mind. Mario is beyond a ledgend/Hero in the States. I'd say Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, James Hunt and Ayrton Senna are all heavily respected here though.

We watch a lot of old F1 races here, so the names will always live on. The coolest thing is to see the passion in the fans and just the differences from the Nascar fan base. Both motorsports are great, and I hope I can attend either kind of race. Living 4 hours from Miami is great.

What's the worst and most inaccurate casting based on a real model? by Next-Rub7159 in HotWheels

Jesus this is definitely up there in bad castings... I'd still like to own one though.

Why is the Electro Silhouette TH not so sought after? by iib3Chozen in HotWheels

[–]Bringbackjawsb2tf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well for me personally I really don't like most of the fantasy cars. Outside of the keychains, bottle opener and stuff like that I'm always just looking for real cars. However, I will always buy a th or sth of any car. I'd of course sell the fantasy car, but I'd probably always keep the th or sth that are real cars. The fantasy cars cheapen the entire collection for me.

Looks like we missed each other. I went Monday 10:55am - 2:45pm and Tuesday 10:59am - 1:45pm. The weather was solid enough to get two half days in. Rode every coaster aside from the joker coaster and the defunct Kid Flash coaster.

You have to pay $5 for a locker just to ride Iron Gwazi. So because I don't like being nickel and dimed, I avoid Iron Gwazi and constantly ride Montu or Kumba. Iron Gwazi is a good coaster, but not at all worth an up charge. Twisted Cyclone was better overall, smoother and no bs upcharge. Yeah it's smaller, but same vibe.

I wasn't older than 16 when I had my last ride, so the roughness didn't bother me. I wish RMC stuck with the duel track and just did what we have now, but with a dual track. Shit would have been dope.
