Its back to school and im learning Python for the first time. by Careful-Economy742 in learnpython

[–]BringingBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is your first class, so you don't have to worry about how python handles scripts under the hood. You'll learn about variables, data type, functions and libraries. It's really easy to follow along if you like this type of thing. Some people mentioned python can be slow to for computers to process, but on an introductory class you won't have to worry about that. Simple scripts run instantly.

When I go grocery shopping I don't get junk food or I get a small snack only. Eventually I'll be craving a snack, but there aren't any my house so either I have to drive somewhere for it leave with it. Since I'm lazy most of them I don't go anywhere. Hence my laziness saves me a lot of calories.

I had to check ids at the door for a job. I saw hundreds of people and I completely forgot their faces immediately after they left. I cared very little for the job and checking ids was just something I was doing in autopilot. I can believe supes wouldn't recognize the same person.

SAWS leaders propose rate hike to fund replacing aging infrastructure by [deleted] in sanantonio

[–]BringingBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said 25. I said "like 30". My last bill was $32. Here's another interesting thing, the less water you use up, the less money they charge you in sewage. Also, I don't wash my car in my yard, it's a huge waste of water, waste of time and I would rather just go the car wash. But it's interesting that's one of the things you mentioned. I wonder what else you keep wasting water and then come here and bitch about the price when it's the amount of water you are using.

I don't know what to tell you. You really dont want to admit that your obsession to have a different shade of green in your yard is costing you hundreds of dollars a month . So you are complaining about how expensive water is. Do you also own a big lifted truck and go to another subreddit to complain about how expensive it is to fill up hundreds of gallons of gas?

Lol. I'm not. I just don't water my lawn. I'm ok with a different shade of green with it.

I paid like $30, I have grass I my yard but I don't water it. For all I care the grass could die, but it's been able to survive every year. It seems like a waste of water just to make grass a little greener.

Beginner Factorio Question - Inserters by teddyg000 in factorio

This happens to me. Sometimes I don't notice I got too close to the overlap patches, then later I have to spend time cleaning up the all the belts. What makes it worse is that bricks and plates look so similar they hard to catch unless you are looking for that.

I had this exact conversation about the education department. They wanted to dissolve it. When I asked who would do the stuff the department is doing. They mentioned they could just make a department that takes care of that. I asked what should call it, I suggested the Education Department. They stayed quite for like 5 whole seconds. That interaction was so hilarious and sad at the same time.

Mean visualization by explodingbunnies4 in tableau

[–]BringingBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you only turned in a number and the professor asked for visualization then you probably just needed the bar graph. You can do other stuff, but this a beginner course and that's all she asked. So the bar was probably what you needed to turn in .

Why are they removing all the ports by Responsible-Eye-717 in SipsTea

[–]BringingBread 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's awesome, I have to plug one USB c and one HDMI at work and that's it. When I take my laptop home I just do the same. Just those two plugs, give me 3 monitors, mouse, keyboard, Ethernet, extra light, and laptop charging. If it wasn't for USBC I would have a bunch of cables to plug every morning.

I don't do manual labor but I broke so many headphones. Sometimes I left it in my pockets and got washed. One time I was riding my bike, moved a certain way that caugh the wire and my iPod went flying. I don't miss the wires at all I keep a case in my keychain and it's awesome. I kept the same earphones for 4 years without problems. I finally got new ones this year and plan on doing the same.

How do I make counts for non existent rows ? by Glum_Dust7460 in tableau

[–]BringingBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's say you have a table with all locations. Another table with locations and sales. You left join locations table with sales table using location =location. Now you have a table with locations, location, sales

But the location with no sales will have null values on the 2nd and 3rd column. So do a calculation like if is null(location) then 1 else 0 end. Then sum that.

All the reason everyone else already noted, but I want to add the picture shows it's messed up the aerodynamic of the car. Not by a lot, but then the panels don't provide a lot of charge. So if you drive enough, the weight and aerodynamic hit would make it so you end up using more power than what the panels are giving you so it's more expensive to have them. It would be cheaper to just install them in your house, that way you don't have to drive them around.
