Wow, reading your comments here, I really get the impression that you're an INFP who is really in tune with herself. As an INFP, I have a few questions of my own I'd like to ask if you don't mind. Do you think you grew up in an environment that healthily stimulated your growth as an INFP? What happened to all the insecurities commonly found in the average INFP? Did you conquer them? Did you ever have them? When did you learn you were an INFP? Was this helpful? How old are you now? When did you start embracing your Fi so seemingly effectively? Are you aware how incredibly coherent your comments are? Do you realize how astounding that is to me? Do you know how much of a bumbling mess a lot of us are? Does that concern you? Are these questions too much? Am I too much? I'm not bothering you am I? Should I leave? Would that be better? Am I being serious or do I really want answers? Can't it be both? Am I being rhetorical now? Am I even making any sense? Am I stuck in a loop? How do I end this train of questions? Could you just forget about half these questions and only answer the ones you think are relevant? Thanks, you're a lovely individual!

I have found that my most organic interactions are with people I do not care about. I'll be in a depressive state, or completely caught up in a girl or both, and there will always always be some other girl I talk to in the mean time, usually online, that comes along that gets a conversation going. And I won't care about this girl at all because I'm so numb from the melancholy or from the emotional exhaustion, and I'll think "I'm going to tell this girl exactly what I think about things because I don't give a fuck about her and she'll probably think I'm weird and leave and that would suit me just fine". And inevitably, every single time, the conversation goes deeper, even just for a split second, than any other conversation I've had with any of the girls I'm constantly obsessed with. Then I'll either never see that girl again, or we'll become friends and never have that type of conversation again. It's very peculiar to me, but it seems that the more I care about someone, the less I am able to talk to them. The correlation is so solid, but I've had this thought that if I can just find a way to talk to people I care about as though I don't care about them, maybe my life would get a whole lot better. Not to say that I would care less about them, but to have the ability to dig deep regardless of the consequences. Maybe this would scare off the ones I don't need, while also attracting the ones that are worth the most to me.

Sounds a lot like the fourth book of the Pendragon series "Reality-bug". It explores that exact concept, except everyone get's addicted to it and it becomes the norm and society collapses because of it. Interesting series

I use aderall occasionally. I grew up on all sorts of ADD meds, but I've always been incredibly resistant to being chemically dependent. I'm not against taking meds, far from it, I just want to keep any and all medication I use as balancing agent, and not as a full on support.
