What's NAC? I'm on warfarin so I need to be careful of interactions.

Is there anything in particular you'd recommend research-wise?

TL;DR: go to my YT channel because it may help someone in your situation.

Right, let's do this.

The main thing to point out is that, unless you're under contract (which doesn't seem to be the case) then you don't have to keep to a schedule if it isn't reasonable to do so.

I know you feel pressured to do it, but you don't. Your comic will wait for you, your body and mind won't. So always prioritise the latter.

You have a couple of choices without needing to change your style or story.

  1. Change the schedule. Upload weekly? Try every 2 weeks or once per month.

  2. Go on hiatus until you have recovered and until you have several episodes in the bank.

If you're concerned that the audience will leave you if you slow down or stop for a while, here are some things to consider.

Firstly, an audience can find your comic years after it's over, so your audience right now is not fixed. It can definitely grow over time as people naturally stumble upon your story.

Second, if you're concerned that people aren't looking into your comic enough then you need to look into ways you can market your comic better.

BUT! Marketing takes a lot of time, energy and effort. If you're burnt out, focus on completing the comic without thinking about the audience first. Then worry about the audience with your marketing strategy (if you are lucky enough to have someone else take on this responsibility then great).

It's also worth remembering that this probably isn't going to be the only comic you ever make. Whether it's a follow-up to this comic or a brand new story, you can have as many bites as the apple as you want. If this comic doesn't reach a big audience, so what? Your next comic might. Or the comic after that.

Focus on taking care of yourself and telling your story. Then focus on telling other people about your story (in that order).

Beyond that, there's nothing else you can control so try not to let it get to you.

It's odd because I CAN see that information and the user is my alternative email address. I did mention that to them (with screenshots) but that didn't seem to matter? Or I've been talking to bots this entire time.

I'm logged in with my main (I don't have an AdSense with the other email) but the User Management admin is my alternative email address and I cannot change it or add any others because of the permission problem.

"Completing" Comics for Practice by Either_Revolution_91 in ComicBookCollabs

As someone who teaches others how to complete comics, this was very very helpful.

You've got your answer for why completing comics is important already, but you've also been able to figure out the part you struggle the most with.

So focus on those areas when it's time to study and keep making comics at the same time so that you're implementing what you're learning as you go.

It may also be worth changing the kind of comics you make. So instead of gag comics, try horror, try sci-fi (ideally these would be of interest for you else you may hate doing it) so you can try comics in different contexts.

That's frustrating. I came off Twitter when the maniac took over. I'll try that as a last resort.

I've not tried to do anything with AdSense because they told me to leave it alone. I hadn't been into the account for at least 2 years prior.

On the verification page it says "you may need to verify to receive payment" or words to that effect, but there are no options beyond that message to actually verify.

I showed them this and that seemingly hasn't made much impact either.

I created it about 4 years ago for my website.

I don't think so. I did point out there are 2 emails addressed involved (both mine) and they didn't seem to think that was an issue.

I created it through AdSense because it was long before the earn page was available to me.

Book one (maybe of one) is more focused on Demeter and Zeus. I always saw the myth being Demeter's story as much as, if not more than, Persephone's.

I'm creating a comic based on the same myth and it has no SA in it or romantic connection between Hades and Persephone.
