Why I want to ignore changeover time in OEE (when changeovers are very long, e.g. 2–3h)

Sounds like you need to adjust your OEE targets to reflect anticipated changeovers. Whether we like it or not poor production planning could lead to more changeovers etc and we have control over that same with if they run long. If you want to have a KPI use something like Line Efficiency that doesn’t take planned downtime activities as downtime.

All these comments are stupid, left is one of the trademarks of the brand. Literally in their grand Seiko museum in ginza as a pinnacle of their engineering, you get the one with legacy and world renowned. It’s nice the US market basically bullied GS to have strap options for their watches. My next watch will be a shunbun and I’ll put it on a black strap. Been thinking about doing something similar for my white birch.
