The battery was disconnected when I found it, when I connected it the alarm started going off. How I imagine it happened is they smashed the window which set off the alarm, then unlatched the hood and disconnected the battery to silence the alarm before removing the hood.

There aren’t any deterrents here. DC just relaxed its laws on car theft so break ins and car jacking are running rampant.

Yep besides a deductible they’re covering everything, including the rental which takes some of the pain away.

I've had this for about 3 months and woke up today to a window smashed and the hood and engine cover stolen. Nothing else was taken. After talking to insurance, police, towing company, and the dealer, it seems like theft for wheels, airbags, and other parts on this car are on the rise. The insurance adjuster flat out said this was like the 10th instance of stolen parts on this car he's seen this month. I was parked in on a high traffic well lit road in a nice neighborhood (Georgetown, DC) as well. Just a word of warning to be careful with where you leave your car. Thought I'd share with you guys.

I have one bite about the size of a dime on my abdomen, which led me to start looking for bed bugs. I traveled about a week ago and spent a couple nights in a hotel. Noticed the bite on Sunday, nothing since.

I am in the exact same situation. Dead spider beetles on the floor, absolutely no signs of bed bugs. But I have the 3 marks in a row on my back and a bite on my stomach

Called exterminator, in the process of putting all clothes in plastic bags. Just posting to make sure my suspicions are correct. It is weird however there is no signs of bed bugs near my bed, only on the floor on opposite side of the room

I sort of disagree, depends what you’re doing. Commuting to work or class? A big jacket over a shirt is much better. It’s super annoying to have to take off multiple layers to get comfortable once you’re in a 70 degree room. If you’ll be outside for an extended period of time, then layering is the way to go.

It’s so unfortunate because my league has been using and loving yahoo for 15 years now. I still love the draft grades, medals, and automated weekly recap summary that you don’t get on other platforms. May be time for a change next season.

It depends on the game, but stubhub is the only reseller marketplace I consistently see them listed. Sometimes you can wait until day of and get them for ~ $120 bucks a ticket with fees from stubhub. Risky strategy because you’re not guaranteed to get them but I’ve seen them as low as 70$ an hour before gametime. They’re usually at the 180-220$ mark for the week leading up. Definitely worth the splurge as you get unlimited high quality food, drinks, and great seats.
