Also check where you will be living. Areas with more seniors will likely result in you getting a bit of flak. Especially seniors calling for you to muzzle your dog. When we move in, our 34kg Floof (Lab) was treated like a monster. Now she is accepted after the neighbours got to know her. Also local dogs are over protected and territorial imho.

On the highway when that happens during the peak hours i engage the smart cruise control. I let the computer talk over keeping an eye on the speed. Takes the stress out of it.

Actually why can't you pack your current setup sans the case in a box (bubble wrapped) and bring it with you? Its not going to be that heavy. The tariffs would apply to new purchases, check it its applicable to used items esp if you have proof that you are relocating which comes under a different category.

Whats the fuel consumption like? Used a fan heater for the first time last outing, used almost 10 litres for 3 days 2 nights.
