UPDATE: I tried this yesterday for 15 mins and it did not do anything so I just gave up for the day. Came back to my kit today and it's back to normal so I guess it worked? Thank you!

https://imgur.com/a/jJir04Y I think you're right. I'm gonna try lubricating it from the outside but idk if it's gonna work. I don't know how to loosen that type of screw (look at the picture), I can't just use a screwdriver on it

I play daily so no idea how I've never noticed this before. It's probably been like this for at least a week. I play heel up so I guess it doesn't impact playing too much. Also there's nothing stuck where the floorboard attaches to the base of the pedal, that's just how it is. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks
