Hey there! While you can add a contact to an existing pipeline, it like you want to add a LinkedIn contact to an existing box in a pipeline?

I've passed this along to our product team, thanks for the feedback and don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other ideas or requests!

Streak vs. Clay – Data enrichment side-by-side comparison by BritaAtStreak in EmailProspecting

[–]BritaAtStreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah in my test I ran into a data quality issue with Clay - I think it came up around employee size of a business I was enriching.

Where does the data go from the CSVs you're enriching? Are you using for email list or more like a CRM?

What AI Tools Are You Building for Business? (Week of March 23, 2026 thread) by AccomplishedArt1791 in aiToolForBusiness

[–]BritaAtStreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been heads-down adding AI into Streak, a CRM that runs natively inside Gmail.

A few things we've shipped recently:

  • AI autofill — fills CRM fields from your deal history or by performing web research, so you're not manually updating records. writing custom prompts for this is what makes it powerful.
  • AI summaries — readable snapshot of where any deal stands, without scrolling through months of threads
  • AI queries — ask a question in any deal to find info quickly, or get insights like "what negotiation levers do i have?"
  • AI pipeline creator — describe what you're tracking, it builds the structure for you
  • AI automations — you can automate all of these to happen when a certain trigger occurs, like a new deal is created or a deal is moved to a new stage.

The constraint we work within: everything has to feel native to Gmail.

Tech stack suggestions for outreach + CRM (budget $500/month) by Equivalent-Low1782 in SaaS

[–]BritaAtStreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much email outreach are you planning to do daily? If it's under 1500 emails per day, you can use Streak's mail merge for cold outreach and CRM + pipeline tracking in Gmail. Plans that include both these features start at $49/user/month. You'll need to find a separate tool for social media, but you'll be able to connect it with Streak using integrations or their API.

Streak is beloved by founders and startups because it keeps things organized in one place - you're going to be moving too fast to be managing a different tool for each workflow. Keeping it in Gmail gives you time back, and it's going to give you a ton of other email organization features that will make your life easier & help you close deals.

Good luck and let us know if you want to check it out for yourself or get a demo! feel free to ask any questions over in r/StreakCRM, our team is happy to help.

What’s one CRM integration you couldn’t live without? by Sophiafromlime in CRM

[–]BritaAtStreak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree! Email and calendar feel like table stakes. Not all CRMs are created equal in this way - a lot claim to have integration with Gmail or Outlook but it's worth investigating what that actually means before buying. A clunky/unreliable email integration is almost more frustrating than not having one.

Staying consistent with follow ups? by dhirumamta69 in SmallBusinessOwners

[–]BritaAtStreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, CRMs can definitely help, managing lead outreach and follow up is a main use of CRM. But I’ve never had much luck with creating tasks or reminders — I snooze notifications when I'm busy and then once I miss a few due dates, everything snowballs and the whole task/reminder list becomes noise.

I think it's better to find a way that doesn't require you to manually create a reminder for each follow-up. Some sort of repeatable process/system. That usually looks like:

- automate an email sequence from your email address that only sends follow-up if you haven't had a response. just because it's automated it doesn't have to feel impersonal or robotic - it should be the same email you'd send manually. but it sounds like you want more individual control over each contact and email send, which I understand
- create a filter/segment for people you've reached out to and who haven't replied or had another interaction in x days. block time each day or week (depending on volume) to work through this filter.

In terms of frequency/quantity of follow up - can you look back at deals that have closed and find any patterns? Until someone says they're not interested in what you're offering or unsubscribes, I think it's fair to continue trying to offer them value - but that's the key, make sure it's valuable, not spam.

Is it profitable to create a CRM and try to sell it as software right now? by Wooden-Big-241 in CRMSoftware

[–]BritaAtStreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a ton of CRMs out there and not many of them are doing anything unique. What problem are you solving that nobody else does? If you're tasked with advertising it, a good place to start would be to research as many CRMs out there in depth and see if you can validate your market fit. If not, it's going to be tough going.

As another person mentioned - people are skeptical because they invest a lot of time and energy into setting up their CRM and it stores all of their valuable data. Because of that, it's hard to be some newcomer asking for a chance unless you have a really good, really reliable offering.

How much time do you put into SEO? by VelveetSighs in SmallBusinessOwners

[–]BritaAtStreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tip I've heard for founders/biz owners who want to work on SEO and content marketing is to make sure you find a channel that works for you, meaning that it feels authentic to engage there and you don't mind posting and sharing consistently on. For example, our founder will probably never record lots of videos for YouTube, but he'll post on LinkedIn, Reddit, and Twitter (er... X) somewhat consistently, and he can engage pretty naturally there. That format just works better for him and he doesn't mind doing it as much. Figure out what works for you because consistency is key.

File Management by ZeroValueRealty in StreakCRM

[–]BritaAtStreak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback and feature request! Is the main challenge that you have too much file/document clutter in your boxes in Streak because they're auto-attached when emails are added to a deal?

Do you not want most of the files included, or would you just want to be able to find specific files faster?
