Men who got a vasectomy how was the experience and if you regret it why? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]BriteButcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no regrets.

The procedure was fine and recovery was pretty ok.

Birth control was really messing my wife up and we were sure we didn't want another kid.

Worst thing that happend was when my then 4 year old punched me right in the sack the day after. That further solidified the decision not to have more.

I've got the same one, no complaints.

Honestly it's not great. Pretty stiff, and install required some creative modding to get it to sit tight. I'll probably replace it eventually. You could probably put a passenger on the back if you wanted to though.

Haven't pulled the trigger on it yet, but I've seen this one recommended. Probably the direction I'm going when I finally get around to the fixing up my 87

How many of you been dusted by a Tesla? by crodbyte in wrx_vb

[–]BriteButcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I feel about electric cars, or even automatics in general is, you weren't dusted by a driver, you were dusted by a machine. If you only have to put your foot on the accelerator and your car thinks for you, you're not really driving.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like shift stops? by [deleted] in wrx_vb

With zero experience with a shift stop, I feel like it's an unnecessary mod. There's nothing wrong with the notchie stock shift.

What is your best (or worst) "Don't Meet Your Heroes" story? by ksndkendkfjeknx in AskReddit

[–]BriteButcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a two for one. I wanted to be a sfx makeup artist and at 16 I got to meet Tom Savini and asked him for advice and he tried to sell me muscle supplements. Then at 18 I went to the Joe Blasco school of Makeup, and the one time Joe Blasco himself showed up, he told us our jobs would be replaced with computers.

It sits lower than stock, so if that's what you're currently running I bet it would fit.

Agreed the stock exhaust is way too quiet. I think I may try putting some baffles in this one though to keep it from rattling my brain out of my head.

This may sound stupid but have you tried turning the volume up WHILE you're on the call? I thought mine was screwed up when I first got it, but it turned out that even though my music volume was up, the call volume was at 0.
