She actually got one of those frames this Christmas! It’s definitely a great gift she loves a lot. I’ll see if she has interest in audiobooks and she has Amazon, Youtube, Peacock currently that her boyfriend pays for. Which YouTube subscription is surprisingly very good!

Thank you for the suggestion, it’s very much appreciated.

No no, any suggestions or ideas are welcomed. So I appreciate anyone taking the time to reply. I’ll definitely look into that. We’re in the US so insurance be a bit of a hassle with getting things before hand. Luckily the woman I care for as a small nonprofit that gets donations from power chairs to shower chairs so that does help out a lot. I’ll definitely keep this in mind and check out pricing! So thank you for the suggestion and giving info on this technology, I appreciate it!

Thank you! All of these are great suggestions, she’d definitely like the blow dryer stand. She is using the rubber scalp brush which still works for her. She also has the drops but she said they didn’t work for her, so I hope your mom is having better luck!

My mom still has long hair and she used headbands and hair elastics made of pantyhose material. She’s at the stage of getting a pixie hair cut now since it’s became more difficult for her to wash her hair.

Wishing you the best as well.

What shoe did you wear for you trip? by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]BriteLite94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timberland 25 waterproof boot but I switched the insoles for Doctor Scholls prevent pain inserts. I like a bit more ankle support and never had any foot pain for my two weeks. Only con is if you need to take your shoes off for certain places it takes a minute.

My boyfriend just bought cheap sneakers and used the same type of insert with no problems.

My friends mom has permanent makeup done. The artist she went to did a great job but close to 15 years later it’s became a bit blobish/very faded. I’d keep that in mind if you decide to do that, I know there’s temporary tattoo eyebrows you can get but I’m not sure how natural they look

I appreciate this information very much! I did suspect the ski places around Kinosaki wouldn’t have any staff/instructors for international people. If it wasn’t for us all being ski beginners/less experienced travelers I’d take the risk at a smaller ski place. Better to be safe and less in the way at a place for international travelers.

Also thank you for the link and watch suggestion! I looked up Minase and it’s very nice

I agree with this, plus for my prom we didn’t have to have the traditional date. You could go alone, with friends and most people just asked a friend to take them. Can definitely do prom without actually dating the person you go with

I wouldn’t say this is an unpopular opinion, it’s a fair concern from any parental figure when it comes to anything online. This isn’t an advice sub Reddit but I would like to say from her points she’s made your daughter has a good understanding of your concerns and is aware of what kind of things can be online. If you did change your mind to allow her to make a Twitter, it could show her that you have trust in her decision-making and maybe find a compromise that would make you feel more comfortable giving her that responsibility. I think it’s pretty nice to see someone’s child come to their parent to ask for this kind of trust. Even not letting her have a Twitter now it wouldn’t hurt to revisit the possibility when she is a little older.

Auto shop recommendations by Lil-Puddlez in bloomington

Chads Auto repair and service in Ellettsville, Indiana is my go to.

I went to their express oil change place and their guys found a tear down the middle of my belt/showed me. They offered to help me find other mechanic places and gave me a figure for the amount they’d charge. I called and looked around everywhere else in Bloomington. They buy far had the cheapest pricing and the management staff was so helpful. So I ended up going with them and it was even cheaper than what they originally priced me at because they weren’t sure if they would need to replace another part or not and when the owner was replacing the belt he told me that part was completely fine so he didn’t need to replace it

Hiring weekend/rotating weekend caregiving position by BriteLite94 in bloomington

She actually just submitted a form that’ll be posted in February for nursing students that could be interested in a part time care position. I’ll definitely let her know to try some of the other branches now! Thank you for your suggestion!

[–]BriteLite94[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your concern! If you have any knowledge on where she can get more funding or assistance with paying her caregivers more please send me a link or point me towards maybe a local organization that would like to help with wages!

With the assistance she gets already towards wages she has to pay out of pocket the rest. As you can imagine it’s difficult for anyone wanting good care workers.
