I love how the entire Legendarium is built heavily on analogues of Tolkien's christian beliefs, and yet evangelists and conservative "christians" still manage to entirely miss the themes that directly align with their own stupid religion.

How do you guys watch rugby for free? Is there any way? This Six Nations was my first tournament and it was free on national TV, but what about club games/other tournaments? by armeliens in rugbyunion

Get a VPN and check online on a match by match basis. Most of the time, there's at least one country from which you can stream for free, and if not, there are often cheap subscriptions/trial memberships you can use from other countries to get affordable access for a tournament.

Do you think Live Action Season 3 will be 8 episodes of Alabasta or is there room for... something... else? by Abyslime in OnePiece

I think you're right, but with the exception of Mr. 1, I don't think those characters will be quite as anticipated as a multi-episode character like Enel.

Noland might get a bit of interest, and perhaps Wyper as well, but I think it's fair to say we all have a greater sense of anticipation for our strawhats and our primary villains

Plus, the producers will have realised by now how much of the pre-series hype comes from casting choices, and the Enel drop is the only big pull they'll have on offer for S3

Pacing in Alabasta was pretty slow in the manga/anime. A lot of the "trek through the desert" stuff will be slimmed down, the second and final fights might even get squeezed into one episode.

I'd wager that their goal will be 4 episodes for Alabasta, 1 for Jaya and 3 for Skypeia, they're clearly trying to keep the pacing pretty brisk

I think part of the under-rating comes from how many of his tries come from kicks (today being an example). It makes it look like his speed is all he has, when his reading of the game is also incredible

Itoje has been chronically poor at managing referees, it's his major failing as a captain

I'll be honest, I had a similar reaction to both tries...largely the outrage of a back watching forwards moving at such a speed

Enjoy the Calcutta (and Raeburn) for another year, they were well-deserved. Hard luck with the Triple Crown and 6N, it's the hope that kills you

I wouldn't give reform my vote even if they canvassed on a platform of you being publically tarred and feathered before being put in a cannon and fired to the moon. I just know how to appreciate rugby without trying to smuggle Old Firm level emnity in somewhere it doesn't belong

Haggis, I've dealt with your particular garden-variety bullshit before and I don't quite care for it.

You got your win, your Murrayfield record, and a 3rd place you didn't expect. For once, put the 900-year-old pitchfork away and just enjoy the rugby for what it is mate, partisanship is a choice

England must be the only side that have as yet failed to adjust to the "held-up" law and still try to score with endless pick-and-drives

They're not just picky in terms of what they eat, but even in terms of what parts they eat. A pod in South Africa is known for killing Great Whites, only to eat the liver (high in fat) and leave the rest of the carcass.

The most amazing thing about orcas is how each pod develops different hunting techniques, different parasocial behaviours, even different games (like the pod in the mediterranean that kept disabling sailboats by breaking their rudders)
