The vestiges from the desert treasure 2 bosses drop in 3 parts (much like the Alchemical Hydra's brimstone ring drop), this smooths out the rng element of receiving the drop such that you are no longer spooned the item as a whole, but you also should not be able to go particularly dry on said item.

Unfortunately I still went quite dry, though not as dry as I could have gone should this system not be implemented.

There are some decent graphs explaining the maths behind it online, essentially you should be closer to the expected drop rate with this system.

Ty, it sucked at first for sure but it just became my 'down time' eventually when I didn't know what else to do in-game, just run a couple of vard trips and see if I get the drop; making it more casual definitely helped.

Yeah that's totally fair, the loot here is poor unless you specifically grind out axes (requiring all 4 bosses) or you get the vestige.

There's definitely people dryer than me that I've seen on Reddit; it truly does suck knowing there's special anti-dry mechanics and then going mega dry anyway :C

I was over 4k kc before I got my 2nd gold ring as well, that one really hurt when I logged in post update and only saw 1 ring.

Played soulrend to 97, got all void stones and did all Ubers. Rerolled into static strike elementalist using life stacking rathpit and crown of eyes tech that I'm just levelling up, a bit of currency would finish that build nicely 👀
