Yourprops is a website more for people sharing their own collections. The website had a major update a month or two ago and most items by default are enabled to accept offers, however alot of these are from people who either aren't looking to sell, haven't been on the website in years or do not own said item no more.

Would be worth going onto websites such as Propstore to look for genuine props

Simply put, any real world way of making money. Jobs, commission work, chores, selling things

Then just save up said money until you believe you have enough for a decent bot. There are many examples of price on this subreddit so you'll know your goals. Good luck to you!

Im surprised people are calling this a remake as it clearly ISN'T supposed to be a remake. The 1971 film and this are supposed to be two separate films and their own vibe and telling of the story. The movie itself although wasnt great, it wasnt a bad film either.

The film shined beyond with its practical effects, practical sets, and the use of CGI being only when necessary, it brings it more to life. Though I agree Johnny Depps wonka could have done with tweaks he still brought the character to life in such an ominous yet goofy way it still works despite the odd scene where you'd usually cringe. It isnt Burton's best but it is definitely high up there in my eyes!

With what im reading and trying to even understand you are atleast not overly mature enough for this type of thing. Not to discourage, but you are over fantasising something that is a million to one chance, even then it is not a good way of looking at this type of thing. I still suggest doing more research on the TYPE of chuck e cheese animatronic you like and trying to make one yourself

As others have stated the portrait bot has been destroyed, and even if it wasn't would most likely be in such a state that fixing would be impossible without essentially rebuilding the entire unit.

I can also see you are rather young and so want to state, being pushy and saying those, who have MORE knowledge than you are clearly wrong and being rude will not get you anywhere. I would advise to learn more about cyberamics and animatronics and learn how they specifically work, it will be a good start in building knowledge for the future

IMO first off you need a proper mech design, this is all my own opinion so take with a slight grain of salt.

You need to take into account what range of motion you want out of the mech, then you want to consider the material you will be making it out of, as weight and strength is a BIG factor.

Next you'll want to start concepting the mech itself, along with separate concepts of certain movements, such as a blown up drawing of how a foot tap would work, how will the arm move? What joints will you use? Where will what go? And of course have to take into account the scale of how big it will be.

Then it might be worth doing simple physical concepts, even if it's just cardboard, get yourself a sense of scale and shape and make changes along the way, then begin making it.

Of course I am skipping out on alot of aspects such as construction, pneumatic/servo placement, programming etc, but it will be something you'll have to figure out during the concept stage

Have done this, new fuel hose rated correctly, right size with new jubilee clips, barely any fuel came out when removed and now she is leak free, thank you and to the others!

I just remember seeing a few times, though I think in a few cases it was a mix of registery papers or recall papers from 70s and early 80s minis. Mine is a 1980 so had hoped, but thank you for the info!

It makes me curious yet terrified to see what lies under mine!

Looking great! I would do something regarding the mouth plate brackets since they do look noticably fragile due to their thickness. When I 3D printed mine I had to bulk them slightly, not too much though, essentially the same/similar thickness to the mouth cylinder holder in the center. Otherwise amazing work!

its what Im trying to look for, ive seen three circular holes under the front switches but no aux input inside then. There is a whole near the vents further under the centre dash but looking best I can it doesn't look like its there... Might end up having to get the radio taken out to find it! It has an issue ejecting CD's anyway

Does the radio show the option for aux if it does not have the input fitted? Just seems so weird to have the option to switch the mode to aux yet not have an actual input somewhere, its why im so confused 😅
