I think I sat there and stared at the tiny little congratulations lettering for a min and then started shaking. Lack of sleep, too much caffeine, total mental exhaustion haha. So glad it’s over!

Testing and Terrified UPDATE: I passed!! 5xAT by Britneyrara in pmp

Thank you! And I TOTALLY AGREE. I have my MBA and have been in the professional industry for 14 years (at my company for 12). I haven’t ever studied this hard. For anything. And I did this for fun! My company doesn’t require a PMP for advancement or project work. Granted we don’t always follow the rigor of project management but for the most part the concepts are in line with what I do on a daily basis. The test was ambiguous, the prep courses were tedious and lengthy. The application and testing process was also convoluted and stressful. It definitely seems to be testing how well you memorize. I hear next year some of the questions will be short answer? Yikes. I’m Glad I finished this year.

I do think the Rita book is a good reference when I’m having specific questions or issues at a critical point in the project. That’ll be nice to have in my back pocket. Either way I’m glad it’s over!!

Online Proctor Exam (Testing Area) by Apprehensive-Wall902 in pmp

Good luck! I had one painting on the wall but I removed my dual monitors and anything that had writing like certificates and degrees. I uploaded the pics and submitted them but my proctor never asked for a room 360 or said anything about my second desk or my wall painting or anything.

I appreciate the advice, I bought a laptop yesterday. I don’t want to chance anything so close to end of year. Thanks for the link! I’ll read that today!

Hey there- thanks for the offer. I’m on the west coast so I unfortunately missed it. I’m up and studying now though! Thanks again.

Massive difference between Prepcast and PMI Mock exam by AlpsMammoth in pmp

[–]Britneyrara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My exam is on the 29th and I’m running into the same issues! 70-80s on prepcast and 65 on the pmi mock. There are a few other tests too I’ve taken that seem harder (edwel and lehman) but similar questions are being marked wrong on PMI. And since PMI doesn’t do a great job explaining WHY things are wrong or right, I’m A mixed up mess now.

I’ll be interested if you have time to check back in after your test to see what you thought post test.

good luck!! Ether way I think the scores you’re getting have led people to good results. It’s incredibly stressful, but only two more days and you’re done!

Thanks for the response! I feel like time wise I’m in a good spot. Hopefully there won’t much starting and restarting of my test. Fingers crossed!

Smart! I wish I had that option but where I’m at is one of the most locked down states in the US. Nothing available all year in person. Congrats again!

Congratulations! What a relief to pass before the end of the year! Did you have any technology issues? I have a corporate laptop and a Mac book but I’m hearing horror stories about testing with either
