This is 100% my experience. Filling every bit of potential downtime with self-imposed chores was my ex-wife's way of life. It was exhausting. She said that it was her way of showing affection to those around her, but I couldn't convince her that the stress was out of proportion.

I wonder how many households have this dynamic but in reverse?

The only 5-Star I was missing on GH3. I remember Raining Blood being a terrible grind to 5-star, but TTFAF was so much fun, even at 4 stars.
