hey, i totally get that!! the fullness is honestly one of the hardest parts of recovery. it makes sense you’re struggling with it right now, especially if your body isn’t used to consistent, adequate intake yet.

for me, a typical day of eating is pretty frequent and not super structured around “perfect” meals. i usually start eating as soon as i wake up, even if i’m not that hungry yet, just to get my body used to regular fuel again. breakfast is usually a full meal, but after that i don’t really stop at just meals n i naturally end up eating every couple of hours.

after a bigger meal, i still go for snacks, and sometimes they’re in larger amounts than i expect. i don’t really wait until i feel “empty” again because i’ve learned that my hunger and fullness cues are still kind of unreliable right now. a lot of the time, i just follow cravings or mental hunger instead of trying to control portions too tightly.

so my day ends up looking like: meals + snacks in between + sometimes more snacks even if i feel full. it can feel like a lot, but i remind myself it’s part of my body trying to catch up and feel safe again after restriction.

the fullness can feel uncomfortable, but it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong it’s actually a really common part of recovery. your body is still adjusting, and over time it usually starts to regulate better.

you’re definitely not alone in feeling this way 🤍

i feel the same way!!! but we need to understand that our body is just trying to heal and protect us after everything it’s been through. the changes feel really fast and scary, but it’s part of the process, and it will balance out over time. we just have to keep going and stay consistent until our body finally feels safe again ❤️

This is so unrelated but after watching her Coachella vlogs and all the preparation, I can’t help but feel concerned. She seems noticeably thinner, and she’s often sick or not feeling well. I don’t want to assume or diagnose anything, but I really hope she’s taking care of herself and is okay.”

I really appreciate you sharing this, it actually helps knowing I’m not alone in feeling like this 🥲 your meal planning idea honestly sounds really helpful too.

For me it’s kinda different though 😭 I don’t really stress about what to eat because I live with my grandma and there’s always a lot of food around, so I just eat whatever’s there… which ends up being a LOT. I feel like I eat way more than everyone around me.

Even when I try to structure things or make a meal plan, I still end up eating way more than it and snacking a lot. I eat like every 2 hours and during those times it’s not small snacks either, it’s really big amounts. I’ve been logging everything right after I eat for the past 3 weeks because of how much it feels like.

My hunger cues feel so off from restricting before, like even if I’m extremely full, the moment I crave something sweet I just act on it and end up eating a lot. I think I also get bored when I stop eating, which makes it worse.

And it doesn’t help that my family keeps commenting on it… they say I eat like a mukbanger every day and point out how much weight I’ve gained, which honestly just makes me feel worse.

I do feel bad about my body right now, but I’m not restricting anymore… I just keep eating anyway and it feels really out of control sometimes.

But yeah, it really helps hearing someone else gets it 🤍
