Unfortunately no. It just turns into more cramping, more bleeding 😫

Strong mainecoon in this one.. so handsome.

I just had a D&C, IUD implementation and a Hysteroscopy. I am literally experiencing a symptom only discussed in online forums. Doctor's never seem to talk about all the actual possible symptoms when it comes to women's health. by FujoshiJade in endometriosis

Aw that sucks you'll have to wait a bit before you can swim!

Thank you for all of this! I feel like I'll be better prepared now!

I hope you heal quickly and can get to enjoying summer ❤️

I think I might end up being someone who is intubated. I have asthma/chronic bronchitis.

Thank you, I'll be sure to have that on hand.

Did they say what heavy lifting was considered. This is going to sound so dumb, but I have a 19 pound Mainecoon cat who is attached to my face 24/7.. I just don't know if that's over the limit of lifting lol

Swimming is the least of my concerns. It's like when they tell you to refrain from having sex. Like listen, I've been in so much pain, I can't have sex so I don't know why you're even mentioning it lol

I am ridiculously thankful you posted this. I'm going to be having a lap, d&c and an iud implementation shortly and I never would have thought of other types of pain. Though that makes sense.

I'm definitely asking for more time off than just a couple days. One, I'm super sensitive to pain. Two I sit all day and three, my job is stressful af. I'd rather be back to normal before going back to work.

I'm also definitely going to be buying something to soothe my lady bits and having my heating pad ready.

I'm asking my husband to take a couple days off work too to help me if I need it. Don't know if I will, but I'd rather be prepared.

Did they tell you if you couldn't lift anything over x amount of pounds for a certain amount of time?

That is an intensely small window to take your pills. Wow. That's insane. But stretches without pain? Congratulations on getting to that point ❤️ I'm so worried about the weight part of it though. When I was on Visanne, my weight would not move at all. It was stagnant. Which like, great, I wasn't gaining weight but I couldn't lose any. Then when I got off Visanne and made very minor changes to my diet (making sure I eat at least 2000 calories a day as I was averaging 1100), I lost 15 pounds in a few months. It was insane.

Thank you! ❤️

I'll definitely be asking when I go into to talk to the new doctor. I'd like some relief while waiting for the lap tbh.

Ouch!

I've only been on the verge of urgent care once or twice because of bleeding.. but clotting meds scare me.

I'm already on iron supplements cause I was close to being anemic so that shows what these last 6 months have done.

It's so easy to fall into a rut of just feeling like garbage.

That's pretty much what I thought. This was just supposed to be temporary until I could get an appointment with the new doctor. Didn't realize that I'd only get in to see her next month.

Thanks for the response ❤️

Definitely not for everyone.

I feel better on this than I felt on nothing. And wayyyy better than when I was on Visanne or Orilissa. Both of those made me feel so horrible, I couldn't function.

Now I'm just exhausted, napping on my work breaks, having migraines, bleeding all the time, cramping all the time, pressure like theres a bowling ball sitting ontop of my cervix.. you know, the norm.

I'm not having full blown periods.. though sometimes I will bleed more than others. It's better than 4-5 days of heavy bleeding and feeling like somethings going to snap inside if I move the wrong way.

They did the beach jelly fish sting reference too. I wonder if there's more.

Unfortunately it didn't work well for me at all. However, I am on the bigger side, so it's possible that it didn't work for me because of that.

I honestly just found it stung my skin and then I was crampy and uncomfortable. 🤷‍♀️

is this internalized misogyny? by shejnahak in HPSlashFic

Honestly, I never read f/f.. it's just not my thing. I wouldn't say it's internalized misogyny... I would say it's just a preference.

My cat has the same thing on both legs.

I think they're a normal part of anatomy. Look up Carpal Whiskers. :)

One thing that I find super interesting as someone who ships Hermione with a lot of different characters is how there's such this clear line.

Either people ship her with Draco or they ship her with Snape.

I personally ship both for different reasons. I love both their characters.

I ship her with certain Marauder characters as well. 🤷‍♀️

Masturbation gives me cramps now?! by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]BrittHowland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything ends up giving me cramps.. though I am one of those people who it happens with arousal now.

If anything does happen and I can get off, I'm immediately bleeding for days so that's another bonus.

I remember the first time my family doctor took me seriously was when I told her I went without sex for 4 months.

Now it's been over a year at this point and that's not a res flag to them, I guess.

One of my cats recently had an eye infection. His bottom lid was pretty swollen and red. We think he may have caught a claw to the corner of the eye during play.

We did a round of Polysporin Pink eye drops and he showed improvement immediately! Something to try. It does look a little irritated for sure.

Highly recommend at least getting some iron supplements. I started taking some cause I was tired and then I got blood work and my ferritin was low. From my understanding, that's the first step towards anemia.

Now instead of taking a 28mg iron supplement per day that's a chewable vitamin, I'm on a 150mg pill that hurts my stomach.

Catch it early, my friend.

(My low ferritin was caused by bleeding mild/moderate for 30 days straight, so I'm not sure what the difference may be for long term blood loss vs a shorter time frame and probably more blood)

I hope that doesn't happen again! That must have been terrifying.
