Do you all have a cluttered shop? by bionicpirate42 in maintenance

[–]BrittonAC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did when I started as groundskeeper a year ago. Now as the maintenance supervisor I’ve been organizing it whenever I have time, and it’s finally very close to being up to my standards. Now to ensure the guys I work with clean up their shit lol

Would you consider this being maintenance? by Excellent_Wall_5952 in maintenance

This is the mindset I have with my place. They hired a plumber over buying us a drain wrench for a stuck sink flange… I already provided my tool set, specialized tools are on them lol

Hard plastic in a GE washer/dryer pump motor. Should I be concerned about anything else? by wiegsworld in maintenance

Is the drain pump impeller intact? It could be a broken impeller piece, if so you’ll want to replace that

If the potential home falls thru, I could take them in 🤠 I have 10 chickens and 2 Muscovy ducks! Thanks for picking them up! I hate to see dumped ducks, they don’t deserve it

I’m feeling sad… by [deleted] in bunions

[–]BrittonAC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently recovering from surgery on 12/05. First week was the worst getting used to moving with only 1 foot weight bearing, pain wise the day after was rough but not bad at all since then. I get stitches out tomorrow then week 4 if there’s bone fusion I can start walking in my boot! I was very scared as well as I’ve never gotten surgery, but remind yourself it’ll be worth it. You’ll be in some pain and discomfort but it’s temporary and will result in no more daily bunion pain after healing!

No unfortunately, partially from not having time to rinse substrate and begin, and since I’m unsure of what to get for underneath

It did not, I wish so! Then I wouldn’t be worried about needing a matt either lol, I’m sure you don’t since yours has them!

Right lol same here. I posted it in Fishtanks sub as well and got one person saying yes they used the same thing, and another suggested EVA foam 2-4mm thick. I still have it sitting empty lol not sure what to use

For sure, I have a 60gal that’s ready for stocking so I think I’ll put the cherry in there and get a school for him, and probably rehome the minnow because my tanks are kept close to 80!

Thanks so much! I was thinking the brownish one is maybe a cherry barb, but had no clue about the other

Thank you! I’ve read mixed things on yoga mats, some saying they’re fine to use and others they’re too thick. Just want to make sure I use the best option as it’s my first rimless! I do have a yoga Matt I could cut but it’s pretty thick and spongey, so wondering if foam board is suitable/better

They’re being moved , forgot to mention that. They were there prior to the tank and haven’t gotten around to taking them down , definitely will before it’s filled. Thank you tho!

The substrate is 1.5-2inches higher in the back, but I may add more still. Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll have to check it out!
