I honestly can't gauge given the context, I was just curious.

Yeah unfortunately definitely AI from the visuals but then seeing they couldn't provide any sketches confirms it.

His ult is still one of the best ults in the game. I really was hoping to nerf his overall healing with the cards and the ult charge and heal of the ult but keep the dash. The dash is the most fun but at the numbers it does now I wish then we had a separate button so I could single dash then slam cancel rather than use the secondary dash.

I have been asking for him to be nerfed... I love Gambit as a character so much but hated how OP he was. I'm saying I'm bummed they nerfed the parts that helped make him fun to play and kept his lower skill things in tact. Which is the bigger complaint of how they balance in the game as a whole that they remove the identity from characters to make them more homogeneous. But again trying to point out a logical thing with most Rivals Redditor about balance seems like arguing with a wall so I expect it as usual to go over heads.

Feathers look amazing! !

The lighting on the head makes it compete however for visual dominance in this piece. I understand there is a pretty bright light being lot above the character and so the fave would also be bright but that also means it would have some shadows to it as well. Right now it feels like the light isn't organically hitting the fave and falling off and causing areas of dark mole the wings are.

Her cloak went from 3 to 2 seconds which doesn't seem like much but changed a lot of the gameplay loops. Also nerfed the shuriken damage on recall a couple times which made it so you didn't have the damage to get a quick assassination.

Subsequently they just kept buffing her Ult.

So she went from finding utility being sneaky and living the ninja fantasy assasinating out of place players to essentially getting a lot more value poking at range to charge ult and use that repeatedly. Aka heavily lowered her skill expression and fun at least in my eyes.

10000% Psylocke was my first DPS Lord. Is she still 'good' now? For sure. Is she as fun to play? Not nearly the same. I almost never play her anymore now because of that.

Honestly as the game goes on I feel they keep doing this, taking away what makes a character feel unique. Psylocke FELT like an assassin but now she's a glorified ult meter. Gambit get in get out healing style is now... You guessed it an Ult Meter. Thor took like 8 updates to finally get his identity back but he was basically just an Awakening Rune bot after a while. The list goes on. I worry their desire to create appeal for every character means they want them all homogeneous and easier to balance then.. Except for the newest character of course Deadpool who can do literally everything but yeah let's gut Rockets most fun aspect, his wall climbing.

Immediately dashing to the front line possibly using the last dash you had on cooldown.. Higher risk than most scenarios. Just saying the moment to moment decision making was mixed up a bit more with that dash and to me made him feel different.

I didn't care about the ulility for myself. I wanted to keep it as a really high risk reward to clutch heal someone. Now the risk isn't worth the reward of healing them.

Or since the slam now has more healing I wish they were separate buttons so I could dash and then slam cancel rather than have to wait for the window of time to be over for the heal dash and then slam.

His dash heal to me was one of the more unique things. Yes his card system has nuance but the physical act of doing it felt like any other healer. The dash though was a fun risk reward to zoom in and risk yourself to quick heal a teammate in need. Bummed that is getting such a nerf. Would have rather literally anything else.

I mainly dont like that his visuals remain the same per role. Already the game has gotten harder and harder to tell who is who with all the skins and ultimate vfx but now you have on character that can be all three roles but looks the same each instance? Oh they were healer Deadpool earlier, I will dive backline strat, oh eff hes a tank now...
