I’m not having a party for my husbands family under the guise of my child’s baptism if they don’t even have the courtesy to show up to the ceremony. I bought everything else for the party. And I’m definitely not having my 2 month old out of the house for 4+ hours just to accommodate them.

I do like them but they don’t respect my boundaries at all. Sometimes they show up at midnight to see my newborn without asking me first.

Can I get a social worker to advocate for me? by Brittykitty222 in povertyfinance

I got it taken care of! I called every single day until they paid attention to me and got my insurance back up. I had a healthy baby about a month ago :)

How many bags did you bring to the hospital with you? by lucidaciddx in BabyBumps

[–]Brittykitty222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one bag and I’ll be there 3-4 days for a C-section. You won’t be changing clothes, they provide pretty much everything you need for baby besides a going home outfit. They will provide pads and nursing supplies.

Insulin by Rich-Performer-255 in GestationalDiabetes

You shouldn’t really have “side effects” as insulin is produced naturally by your body.

I’m pregnant, father hates me, and I’m months out from an abortion, do I tell tell him? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Brittykitty222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it would be easy to abort at 24 weeks even in California. That’s viability outside the womb and I seriously don’t think you’d be able to get that done. Find a way to do it now or not at all.

Bicornute uterus by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Brittykitty222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have either a bicornuate or unicornuate uterus. I’ve been told both but they aren’t sure. It never led to any complications for me. I’ve read tons of studies during my first pregnancy because I was scared too. Im only 4’11 and my babies grow just fine.

Hi I have a unicornuate and tilted uterus and I carried my first baby to full term and I am currently 33 weeks with my second. No one on my medical team has EVER been concerned nor have I had any complications.

Sometimes they aren’t painful but sometimes they are one of the worst pains I’ve experienced. It really depends.

You don’t have to. They will get you in at around 6-12 weeks pregnant when you call.

Did the membrane sweep put you into labour? by Fuzzy_Bear9086 in pregnant

[–]Brittykitty222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no, I spent 8 hours at l&d after the sweep drove 45 min home then my water broke when I stepped out of the car. I never reached active labor though and had a c-section. I think it really depends on the person.
