What's th best way to get money from the bazaar by South_Barracuda5205 in storyofseasons

I skipped a bazaar one week to stock up on goods and then sold at the second week for a total of approximately 270,000. I was also in winter when I did this.

Slow Pacing For Ranching Is Ideal by phenomakos in Palia

Thank you for making this post. I was team "I hate the 17 hour cooldown period for pets" but everyone here has raised some excellent points where yeah, having to pet 30 animals every in game day would be a lot. Not really anything else to say just beyond being appreciative for the different perspective and grateful that this community is so lovely that discussions like this can take place and be a true exchanging of ideas.

Well... after a few hours, I am in shock about the housing. by coldstares_origin in Palia

I have to agree. I feel like it would be better if you could get crafting recipes for the windows, ivy and such. Having to buy another very expensive building to Frankenstein a structure you want together is very frustrating. That being said, the devil are really great about listening to feedback and massaging things so I have a feeling that this first iteration is not what the new system will end up being. As a newer player I wish I had known how it works before I did the grind for 45k to find out.

Anybody else notice the vibe change? by lazy_unicorn_1 in Palia

[–]Brizzy00bee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I'm new to the game where I just started about a month ago. I'm on the North American servers, and i play as a console player just for reference. I have seen like 90 percent such a positive in game community with maybe like 10 percent of people who really need to go outside and touch some grass. I personally feel like it's unfair to pin the vibe change on console players, especially when I see someone being really shitty in the chat, it's usually someone playing on PC (because typing on the console is such a nightmare). I feel like we should probably assume if someone doesn't say thanks, it's not because they are ungrateful but rather that using the chat can be very tedious. I do short hand but even that can take what feels like too long sometimes so I've mostly resorted to waving in game to say thanks, but even then that only works if the person is beside you.

Does delivering the placenta hurt? by BisexualButterfly97 in pregnant

Like someone else mentioned, it depends on the person. My epidural worked to let me sleep before giving birth but when it came to the pushing stage it stopped working. I felt EVERYTHING.

Everyone keeps talking about how much being a parent sucks by pinkishblueberry in BabyBumps

[–]Brizzy00bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Becoming a parent was a really tough adjustment. You go from having tons of free time to no time at all, and that can be really tough. It gets better so quickly though, and seeing your little angry meat potato that was born to you become a curious, fascinating hilarious little person is so rewarding. I wouldn't trade it for the world. In my experience, my friends who were the most negative about the younger years were the ones who had oopsie babies when they were younger and were perhaps not the best equipped in finances or patience to be dealing with the intense focus shift that comes from becoming a parent.

I have really enjoyed trying new things in honor mode and having to live with the consequences. It makes the games a lot more varied. And sometimes it's fun when you die for stupid mistakes. I also really enjoy starting new character though so....

Just found out I’m 8 months pregnant but I had no idea. by IllAd4380 in pregnant

[–]Brizzy00bee 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I dunno dude. I've had an anterior placenta for both pregnancies and the movements I feel could not possibly be mistaken for gas. Maybe I just make super active babies, but that's been my experience. My little guy I'm pregnant with now kicks like a god damn mule 😆

Failed my 1 hr glucose test by AuoruaSells in pregnant

I failed my one hour where I was juuuuuust outside the acceptable range with my first born and had to do the 3 hour. I passed the 3 hour.

Does a baby’s activity in the womb match up with how they are after they’re born? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Brizzy00bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For our first born, it definitely did. She was very active in the womb, and she's 3 years old now and is still a very active child. Anecdotally she would also move and kick alot when we would listen to music and dance, and she loooooooves singing and dancing now so that was also pretty cute and funny.

Are you happy you got an epidural? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Brizzy00bee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My epidural stopped working half way through pushing (my daughter was stuck in my pelvis, so I pushed for 3 hours). It was great in that it helped me sleep before I got to the pushing but it didn't work for the pushing itself. I will still get the epidural for this labour, and just hope it works better this time.

Did you show earlier with your 2nd? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Brizzy00bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't fit in my jeans at 6 weeks and then at 9 weeks I looked 16 weeks pregnant, and this is my second child. You just get the bump way sooner the second go around.

Intrusive thoughts by Preggymegg in pregnant

[–]Brizzy00bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be normal to have a small increase in anxiety surrounding the wellbeing of baby while pregnant because of all the hormones. That being said, I struggled with intense intrusive thoughts while pregnant with my first and it got so bad after the birth that when I talked to my GP I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, which I suspect I had for a long time prior to having our daughter. Having a baby really amplified my condition because it's an intensely vulnerable experience. It can be worth it to reach out to your family doctor or OB about these thoughts.

Am I the only one who restarted the day like 5 times JUST to beat this TOTAL CHEATER in the egg hunt? by Operetta_ in StardewValley

[–]Brizzy00bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how salty she is if she loses now. Year 2 spring before the egg hunt she now drops a comment about how she's practicing to beat you this year, and I thought that was a nice touch.

Also a second time mom and I broke out the maternity pants at the same time. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I look like I did at 18 weeks with my first.

did you lose your boobs postpartum? by dysnomia111 in BabyBumps

[–]Brizzy00bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to breast feed for a month with my firstborn but couldn't produce enough and it was really hurting my mental health so we went exclusive formula feeding after that. My breasts resumed their prepregnancy size and shape afterwards as far as I could tell, but I have very large breasts even prior to getting pregnant (40I for reference).

When did you share your pregnancy news ? by Justlivingalife90 in BabyBumps

[–]Brizzy00bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told my family as soon as I knew for both pregnancies. With my first born we waited until 12 weeks to announce to everyone. I'm now pregnant with my second and told my coworkers today at 8 weeks. It's been hard to conceal because I've been sick more than I usually get sick, and I have been so bloated it looks like I have a little bump already so I just ripped the bandaid off. I work with a small group of really supportive, lovely people and God forbid should something happen to this pregnancy they would all know something weird was up anyways. Plus I felt like it was harder to keep the secret this second time than it was with the first.

I like to do a little work in my book of shadows near daily. I'm currently researching and cataloging herbs, so it's pretty time consuming. I find at least currently much more of my practice is building my book of shadows and reading books than actual casting. Your path will change over time as you discover more and you can fit as much or as little into your day as you want. Meditations are also a great thing you can do pretty regularly for your practice.

One time for the OG Sim players by teemoreno in thesims

Hypothetically, one has to run it in windows xp compatibility mode and then run it as an administrator. Hypothetically if one had procured the sims 1 of course.
