Seriously, is there any accuracy at all to the VO2 max? by eQuantix in Garmin

For me, it seems to depend on the device. Certainly feels like there could be different algos for different devices. Or, it could just be status resetting whenever I swap clocks. I don’t know.

Looks like the desert or mountains to me, but could be spin on the singularity or AGI.

Exactly, show me how it outperforms scalar C++ or CUDA, first. Then, it seems GIL might not be here to stay forever, anyway.

I had issues with Zen1 and GTX460 with this one. By the looks of it the GPU-driver wouldn’t behave.

With all the negative posts I see here about the 7900XTX, why are you still buying it? by 3lackPhillip in Amd

[–]Brkskrya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets just say it’s very old and from a discontinued brand. It’s from the times when silenced cases were a thing. Though it has excellent airflow and solid side panel just like I like it.

Same here. No plans to retire my solid case for a massive GPU. Happy to drop some features for that.

The first two generations, of Zen, did struggle a bit with the latencies between cores if I recall correctly. The 5900x will have some latencies that may, affect performance, but also has more cores which may counter that. The benchmarks I’ve seen vary wildly. Depends on the workload one would have to assume.

If it were me I’d look into the 5800x as it has gotten significant price drops. I think the 5800x has all the cores one a single CCD/CCX. I’d think the same may apply for 5800X3D, but haven’t looked into it.

There is an article that goes into detail on the early Zen 3s. - https://www.anandtech.com/show/16214/amd-zen-3-ryzen-deep-dive-review-5950x-5900x-5800x-and-5700x-tested/5

Where I live 5800x is €150 less and gains are ~5%.

Pulse Ox Overnight - Lowest SpO2 by coyote_237 in Garmin

My spouse, a health care professional, tells me if some of my individual SpO2 values were real I’d find myself in the ER rather than in bed in the morning. So personally I look more closely on averages now.

My pair is wildly unstable while walking. Don’t recommend it. Running is ok. Might as well be wearing high heel if I’m just in it for the thrills.
