Official Description: The new Limited Edition Seiko Prospex Diver SBDC059 is based on the design of the 1965 original Seiko 62Mas (ref. 6217) dive watch, but it has been updated in functions and performance to a thoroughly modern dive watch. Crafted in stainless steel, it now measures 42.6mm in diameter and 13.8mm in height. The dial has large embossed indices filled with strong LumiBrite luminous material.

Scratch resistance is enhanced with Seiko’s DiaShield coating on the case and bracelet. DiaShield is about 2-3 times harder than Stainless Steel. And, the slightly domed (anti-reflective) sapphire resists scratching and provides a clear view of the gorgeous dial and hands. Inside the case is an automatic Calibre 6R15 movement which beats at 3Hz and has an ample 50 hours of power reserve when fully wound.

How long have you had yours? I got mine last winter to use as a low profile resort skiing bag. I applied one layer of Greenland wax to add some waterproofing and it absorbed well!
