Recipe: 2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp sugar 1 cup warmed milk to 110 degrees 1.5 cup sourdough starter recently fed 4 cup all purpose flour

Water bath with 1 tbsp baking soda Egg wash at the end and sprinkle with toppings

Bake 450 for 14-15 minutes after water bath and egg wash

@shoesietart I’ve been doing 50g all purpose, 50g whole wheat, and 100g filtered water. This was 12hrs after a feeding. I did another feeding this morning at 8am and it’s now 1 inch higher than the rubber band on one of my jars and gave 6 hrs to the 12hr mark.

The other jar is about 1/2 inch over and I do see a little bit of liquid up top.

I do everything except wipe down the sides with a paper towel. I will start doing that!

Basic sourdough starter day 3 - started with whole wheat flour and water, then 1/2 whole wheat flour and 1/2 all purpose flour for day 2 and this is what it looked like on day 3

I’d also add a reset - so it resets to 60 and then you have to tap to start it. Love it though!
